And how many times would a Rogue be able to Sneak Attack as a full round action? A surprise round is only a standard action, and any Rogue that Tumbles into the middle of an enemy formation will get tarred. Even if it is one big guy vs the entire party, if the Rogue walks up to him and sticks a dagger in him for 10d6 damage in one attack in Round 1, don't you think the guy is gonna turn around and tar him? This is a monster that is an appropriate CR to the party, which means he is at least equal to the Rogue in "levels".

That's what flanking is for. At least he'll have someone else to soak hp.

So, to answer your question...
3 iterative attacks
1 TWF
1 ITWF
1 GTWF

At least six. More if he takes a PrC which gives him more attacks. Another if he's hasted.

Holy Sweet Jesus... I didn't even think about a TW rogue via SA... that's... ..... wow... that's sexy. Me likes. *throws ranger away, starts to look at rogue...*

JDVN1 - My question is based on how it is possible for him to start and end a round flanking an enemy without getting smashed in the process in practice. Just saying that he can do so much is easy. Getting the Rogue to do it, on the other hand....!

It works well when it does, but remember that a stiff breeze will probably kill you most of the time. :)

JDVN1 - You are assuming that the enemy would sit there and continue attacking the fighter. If a Rogue put a dagger in my for 10d6 damage (and I was still standing) as a standard action, I'd kill him FIRST, before taking down the fighter.

Not many things can take a character down in one round. If there are multiple creatures, though, which is where most problems arise, the damage will likely be spread.
