[Adventure] Rage of the Savage Lands (DM: Dekana, Judge: TwoHeadsBarking)

How dare she use the powers of evil to hurt the lizard people! Beatrice says indigently. Powers of darkness was for killing paladins, everyone knew that! Come on, lets go beat up those guards, rescue poor Toeto and save the city!

"What an embarrassment," says Scarmiglione, in that cheerful tone that creeps into his voice when he senses a scandal in the offing. "The illness spreads to their own city, and they are responsible for it. The priest, I suppose, did not know the cause, or else was being disingenuous with us. He thought it something to do with well water."

"The illness spreads to their own city, and they are responsible for it. The priest, I suppose, did not know the cause, or else was being disingenuous with us. Sliska looks down to Scarm. "The plague existss in the human city, as well? Hah! Perhaps you sshould let them sssuffer for awhile longer, as we have. It would be interessting to sssee if they turn into sseagulls instead of ravens."

Sliska notices some puzzled looks among the party. "You ssaw my people in the village, yes? They were yelling quite loudly at you. The madnesss is only the firsst stage of the illness. After losing their mindss, everyone transssformed into those dark ravens. Though I have not sseen ravens with red eyes before..."

"I musst wait here while you kill that ssoftskin and break her pretty ssword." Sliska seems to ignore Eithal's comment about investigating further. "I need to gather... reagents, for mysself. And I musst tend to the flock. I do not want them flying away, or I may never find them."

Well. Beatrice says, remembering that she tried to kill some of the ravens. Let's go then! I can feel myself getting older my the minute!

You leaves Sliska to her birds and begin the arduous trek out of the forest. Even though you have a path to backtrack along, you don't make much better speed on the way out than on the way in. After all, you still have to contend with deep swampwater and a mess of vines. Thankfully, you make it back to dry land without running into any more of the bird-lizards.

The wooded area south of the lizardfolk tribe seems a little more lively than before. There are definitely more birds and natural beasts in the area than when you first passed through. As the sun falls, you again hear wolves howling in the distance. Before you know it, it's time to make camp.

OOC: Eithal, I still need a saving throw from you.

OOC: Sorry about that. I thought I was all saved up. The slowed condition was until Yishim's end of turn a looooooong time ago.

What is the save against?

In any case, here it is:

*EDIT* Dang waste of a crit!

Damen, not needing to sleep the same way as others, keeps up some light banter, but looks for a retreat in the trees to rest and keep an eye on things.
OOC: Damen hasn't been uploaded yet. Likely end of weekend.

OOC: The saving throw was for a disease that could render you permanently insane at the final stage. So it's not the worst thing to get a crit on.
