Are you a threadkiller?

Knightfall

World of Kulan DM
Okay, have you ever noticed that sometimes you reply to a thread and it seems to die? Especially when you ask a question that might be too unusual and/or bizarre. It's happened to me occasionally, and it makes you think a bit. Is the thread just not interesting enough? Has it all been said already?

And I'm not talking about threads you start that don't get any replies. That happens to EVERYONE from time to time. Plus, I notice that threads that are contraversial tend to get a lot of replies.

So the question remains: Are you a threadkiller? And how experience points should someone earn for defeats a thread? :p

Cheers!

The XP value of a dead thread probably isn't very high. Not a great enough challenge for most posters. After all, anyone can do it.

Demiurge out.

You people are no fun. See, what would have been really funny is if no one responded to this thread thereby proving Knightfall1972 is, indeed, a threadkiller. *sigh*

Lots of threads die after I post in them. I'm starting to get a bit of a complex about it.

I think XP for killing threads would be cool. Say 25XP per post in a thread?

No, I'm a mood-killer. I lay down heavy thoughts in light-hearted threads in an effort to engage in genuine dialogue when other posters just want to fart around, which appears to lead to resentment.

I've taken to ending all my posts with, "and reveal can BITE me!" because that virtually guarantees that he'll post to defend himself, thus making him the threadkiller. I think everybody should do this.

And reveal can BITE me!
