On sizes:

I like the general descriptions of cramped/roomy/vast. I don't so much like the specific dimensions provided. A cramped meditation room would be small even for a single person, but a cramped pub would still have space for a half-dozen stools, and standing room on top of that.

I understand that giving dimensions helps with actually mapping out the layout, and for many facilities the numbers are "good enough". But it might be appropriate to explicitly say that there's some flexibility in size depending on the needs of the particular facility.

Apparently, arbitrary means ‘reasons I don’t like’. Maybe now we can move on to something more interesting?
Arbitrary means “based on whim, preference, or chance.” Plenty of reasons I like are arbitrary and plenty of reasons I dislike are arbitrary. Some people just have this weird aversion to the idea of arbitraity. I think there’s a lot of crossover between those folks and the ones who seem to think “subjective” is a dirty word. Arbitraity and subjectivity are neither good nor bad, they just are.

We are talking about a game, play preferences and fictional justifications. Any bit of this could be decried as arbitrary.

Instead a lower standard for arbitrary is needed for it to even matter as a label on these subjects.
