close quarters vs teleport

For more random-ness:
If the rogue is immobilized, what happens? :) If he moves along with the target, would restrain change that?
If you require that the rogue be able to do the move the enemy does, what if the enemy just moves really really fast? Like double runs with a crazy speed 24 squares away kind of thing.

While the power allows the rogue to move, the immobilized condition trumps that.

I have to go with those who state that it does not work.

The intent of Teleport is single target movement and physical escape. The designers went out of their way to prevent grabbing a foe and teleporting with him.

The intent of Close Quarters is to stay on top of a target.

I don't like powers that give unintentional side effect super powers. The Rogue does not have magical powers with which to teleport. He just is more or less hanging on to the foe and bamf, the foe is no longer there.

If the foe uses a physical type of movement: walks or runs or flies or burrows or swims or jumps or climbs, no problem. Although, a burrowing movement might get a bonus to the slide action to end the effect in my game.

If only the foe moves, then its armour etc. remain behind.

If it takes things with it, then the rogue can try and get through the same way. There are plenty of examples in fiction of someone riding the coat-tails of a teleporter through shear martial skill.

I'm not sure I can specifically list that many times when teleporters are grappling at all, nevermind when they travel with them or not.

Jumper definitely had it.
Dragonball I'm pretty sure has done it.
Star Trek I believe has done it.
Nightcrawler takes people with him all the time, but I can't remember if he's ever been forced to or not. I'd believe it, but dunno.

So, of the things I can remember that had teleport grappling, at least 75% of them it's happened at least once.
