As the bandit hears a distance bell begin to toll, Cyan steps up and rings his bell for sure. The bandit goes down in a heap.

The group looks around for any other's while they catch their breath. The wind is still picking up and swaying the trees. Dark clouds have covered the sun and distance thunder rumbles closer. Niklos goes to help stabilize the bandit who tried to run away, glad for the trees blocking the crazy wind. Terry and Cyan stand over the bandit tsking at the lump on the side of his head, when Talin still in cover (just to be safe calls their attention).

It is Barakas. The tempest seems to be tugging at the tieflings body, and before anyone can reach it, the wind catches under his wings causing them to kite out letting the air lift the pirate nearly fifteen feet off the ground. A rain suddenly pours down as the sky opens up and you watch as the Barakas arms slowly stretch wide. His head is loped backwards and you believe he is still unconscious until...

*crack* *BOOM!*

... a lightning bolt streaks out of the sky and strikes the half-demon. Not a straight strike, more like a bolt that seperated into a half dozen smaller streams to crackle around his entire body.

And then the gushing rain passes just as quickly as it arrived. Now just a light mist sprinkling along your already drenched clothing, and then you hear laughter. Booming deep laughter coming from Captain Stormsword as he gently floats back down to the ground. Electricity crackling around his arms and legs for a brief moment and a huge fanged smile on his lips.

OOC: Congrats gang you are all LVL 2, please see my comments in the OOC.

Figured Niklos would try a Medicine check to stabilize the one bandit he could. Let me know if I'm wrong.

The blue Dragonborn stuck her serpentine tongue out in amusement at the multiple administrations of care on the unconscious bandit. "I only knocked him out. Quite expertly!" She added with a last flick of her tongue.

The wind surged around Captain Barakas Stormsword, energy coursing down his arm, into his sword. The power of the Storms was his. He’d heard its thoughts as he lay dying. No, he had died. He was reborn. His fingers crackled with lightning, and he savored the power within.

OOC: Leveled up! Tried to stick to the theme, but had to grab Minor Illusion. It’s too useful. Otherwise, watch out!Captain Barakas Stormsword is in the House!

Talin releases the tension on his bow as the final bandit is dispatched. He looks at the arrow wound in his thigh. Having seen similar wounds in the army he knew that removing the shaft could cause him to bleed out. He limps over to one of the dead bandits and sinks down next to him. He cuts a makeshift bandage from the mans clothes. He presses it against the wound grits his teeth and snaps the arrowhead from the shaft. His vision swims for a second. As his vision returns he looks over at the others.

"A little help with this, I know squat about tending to a wound."

As he waits he begins to search the body.
