Sure T'Pol has a nice body, but it doesn't balance out for me having to look at her face and hair or watching her "act". And Malcom and the Major seem to have about a 3 charisma between them. The only character I have started to like at all is Reed, but having to put up with everyone else is tiring. As for the episode. Come on, at least half a dozen people witnessed Archer getting sprayed by the Xindi. He then starts taking actions which ENDANGER not only the mission but also the crew. Why was there a mutiny at all? Coudn't the mutiny have been avoided just by Phlox releving the captin until he gets a full physical? Even if there is discount the Xindi spray though, 3 days without food or sleep should be enough for the doctor to relieve the captain until he is rested since humans loose major reasoining abilities after a couple of days of no sleep. Of course this would have taken the wind out of the whole Malcom/Major conflict since as a good military man he would have followed Starfleet orders and acknowleged the doctors right/duty to relieve Archer of command.

Again we get an episode with promise but little else...

see, early on i was thinkng... insects die to save eggs, cap'n saves eggs by bringing them on board, then at a future point bargains with eggs for advantage or just uses te presence of the eggs to get away from insectoid danger...

but that was quickly squashed with "built into side of ship" stuff.

Enterprise is putting the under in underwhelming.

They could have salvaged at least a portion of the episode if the crew had "fire a torpedo on my mark" to destroy the Xindi hatchery ship before they left the planet.

Could have been better, I suppose. I wonder if they'll use the compassion as a means to divide and conquer the Xindi factions when the chips are down? :)

Off course they will. They already established this in the episode with the leader of the fuel proccessing station. The bigger complaint I have with this is that they were billing this season as harder and edgier. They started well with some of the early episodes when Archer was ready to kill people for info, but lately they have gone back to the lets talk not fight philosophy.
