And why did he totally disregard the Major's recommendation as to who to have lead the Macos - he didn't take that one with him.

I'll bet they work that in somehow. Something about Reed wanting to leave behind the best person to take over for him if something should happen on this mission. Plus, there's another mission coming up.

I agree this was a great episode near the end of a much better season than any of of the prior seasons.

I have to admit that the episode was pretty good. Much better than most of the episodes this season. I still dislike the whole temporal vold war angle, but this episode was pretty enjoyable.

I am curious...why did Malcolm only take 3 MACOS? You'd think in an 11th hour, desperate plan you would want all the firepower you can muster when you try to board the weapon? Was there space restrictions on the other ship?

Has the d20 system taught you nothing about the optimal size of an adventuring party? :)

Saw it tonight. Another good episode and I liked the Aquatics ships, especially the hull breach.

I'm wondering what Earth will have waiting for the Xindi when they get out of warp space.

Didn't expect the death of that guy, particularly because he died a 'Star Trek' death, (what happened to him has never happened to anyone else, at least on this series...I think).

The major recommends a female to be the leader of the MACOs after he dies... I think (not positive) that it's the female that is wounded in the Hoshi-Resque mision. So, there's no way she could go on the next mission. Plus, there's no female in the scene when Malcom askes for volunteers. Also, it was my impression that the Major was suggesting a long-term position, not an immediate, "Choose this lady to go on the next away mission" type of leader. Afterall, the Major himself didn't go on all the missions even though he was the leader.
