There's the thread I've been waiting for! Despite the already lackluster official reviews, I'm eagerly anticipating the new season (if not this first two parter). Manny Coto's announced enthusiasm and story ideas sound like a lot of fun. It's a shame he's got to crawl out of the alien Nazi/TCW mess first.

I'm a sucker for Nazi villains and time travel. Can't help it. Somewhere along the way it got hardwired (probably from reading Bradbury's "A Sound of Thunder" at a very young age).

I am very excited!

Wow, its' like...a cult following...Mark is the dude.:D .

I'm looking forward to this season. Unfortunately, the show is not aired locally, so I have to wait for my best friend to upload the HDTV versions to his personal server so I can watch them. I just caught up on last season's episodes this week, so at least the story is fresh in my mind. :)

Yeah, I'm gonna geek out in front of the tv. This will not only be hopefully a cool episode of Trek, it'll be better than the talking heads everywhere else. The only problem is whether or not I should stay home and watch where I can control the volume and distractions, or hang out with friends where I'd have fun with them, but probably miss some details. Decisions, decisions. ;)

so many choices! ... dinner with brother and family or Enterprise?? ... *wolf rolls d20 for vcr programming check*

Well, I was pleasantly surprised. The episode wasn't as predictable as Star Trek has been of recent years and the action was in healthy doses. Everyone seemed to be on top of their game. Definitely looking forward to next week as well as Brent Spiner in 2 weeks!

Great episode. I mean, yeah. Where to start? That thing with
Daniels
, though, I didn't especially expect.

You and me both, dude.

Ah, okay, this becomes very nice indeed...

All those who haven't liked all the discontinuity between Enterprise and the rest of Trek may get to see it rectified, in one swell foop.

Spoiler thought:
So, if Archer & Company win here, the Temporal Cold War will never have happened. And they can blame almost all of the discontinuities upon the war! *Poof!* Gone!

Some folks may not like that thought, but I personally think it is in true TOS Trek fashion, honestly. Just like the Nazis :) This could be very fun indeed.
