Blast it...I don't need to get sick about this....arggggghhhh!!! What they want? A Miracle????

Yes. At this point they've sunk so much money into a crappy show and have heard many times "But this time we'll do better!" Enterprise is on death's door. They should find their miracle or let money go to shows which can "find themselves" in much less time.

I still have hope. Every trek series didn't find itself until around the 4th season. Even the 3rd season was better, so hopefully...

I'm going to have to disagree slightly.

TOS was over in 3 seasons.

In my opinion Next Gen reached its peak in seasons 3 and 4. Seasons 5 through 7 weren't bad by any stretch, but most of the really remarkable episodes came from 3 - 4.

Voyager was pretty bad all the way through, but slightly less so before 7 of 9 took over the show.

DS9 is the only one that actually seemed to have gotten better during and after season 4 since that's when Worf came aboard.

Did they ever actually name the alien race that was assisting the Nazis? I don't recall ever hearing their species name.
Not that I know of. I was assuming they were Remans, but I'm not really sure that's the case any more.

I never caught a name, either. I wonder if it has been mentioned on some official board somewhere, or if we just missed it somehow.

Okay....*breathe out* Man, good to see these threads again.

Second...the official race name was not mention, as it was deem, as a quick fix to a messy solution.

So...it is a mystery.

Yes, no race name. The closest we have to a race name is the leader's name, "Vosk."
They are NOT Remans (and I believe this was discussed in a thread about 3 months ago when "ZERO HOUR" premiered as the season 3 finale). They're probably like the Ewoks were to Return of the Jedi. The word "Ewok" was never mentioned, yet everyone knows who/what they are.

Gotta say, I finally got a tape of this seasons first two episodes and sat down and watched them back-to-back.

Loved them. I really like that the crew finally got some closure to the mission, and hope that the show will return to more of an episodic feel. That was what I appreciated when Enterprise hit the air, the effort to recreate the 'every episode, it's a whole new game' feel, like the OS. They really lost me with the story arcs. I can't get UPN so good where I live and I rely on tapes. That, and I can't make much time for TV. Whenever a story goes all soap opera on me, I'm lost.

Hence, I have no opinion on TNG, Voyager, DS9 etc. Never could follow them. But the OS still r0x0rz IMHO.

One thing I don't understand is, if they fixed the timeline, and the TCW never happened, how come they can remember it and why is their ship still damaged? I would think that they should be put back in time right before the first effects of the TCW.

I wondered about this as well. Whatever the reason, it probably also explains why all the Earth ships were centered on Earth at the end. Because at the end of the previous season's timeline, the super weapon was headed to Earth and presumably all ships capable of damaging the weapon where stationed around Earth for defense.

I have to say that these two eps did not suck. They weren't great either. This show needs more character development. Trek needs it's deep characters to go along with the exploration themes (exploration of self, space, etc).

There were some good points in the show such as the opening movie reel to part 2, the final torpedo run on the enemy installation and the CGI shots of the Nazi flags draped over US locales. The overall action was okay at best. I didn't like the fact that they killed of Silik as he was one of my favorite characters. The supporting characters were pretty bland such as the black lady and the mobsters. I didn't really dig the mixing of 1940's Brooklyn & Trek so take that as you will.

I will continue to watch the show because I am really interested to see what Coto can do with it. He has said all the right things so far. Let's see if he can execute and bring some pizazz back to Trek...
