Enterprise 10-15-04

Does it seem odd to split who directs a two parter?

It seems to happen quite a bit, from what I've seen. Several two parters of Buffy were directed by different writers, not to mention written by different writers.

As for reasoning, I'd imagine it has to do with union laws about working hours, logistics of putting out a weekly show, etc. Doubtless the director of the first hour is putting in a lot of time with the post-production of the first episode, and they need to keep on a shooting schedule for the following week.

Then again, I've never been involved in the post-production side of shooting, so I am hardly an expert on the matter.

Piffle. If UPN gave up on Enterprise, some cable network like Sci-Fi or USA would likely pick it up and run all the way to the bank with it. The main problem with it now seems to be that each market has its own way of trying to find the most difficult slot for it to be in, and none of them agree on when that is. :p

Blast it...I don't need to get sick about this....arggggghhhh!!! What they want? A Miracle????

They are at fault too...and now, they expect a shiny fairy to sprinkle instant cure all over the franchise?

PLEEEaseeeee, give me a break. They got a lower price for the show, they can get more money from commericals(if possible) in turn.

They moved the show, on a supposedly a dead night...*hand being held back to prevent more slandering remarks to occur*

-sigh-

I like SF2, got that nervous twitch, on the show's opening intro...that was a scary thought...on a possible history.

What other threads?
It hasn't happened regarding this episode of Enterprise. But someone dropped spoilers for this week's Smallville into a generic Smallville thread a few hours before the episode was on here in California.

I see. Word to the wise, then, eh?

One thing I don't understand is, if they fixed the timeline, and the TCW never happened, how come they can remember it and why is their ship still damaged? I would think that they should be put back in time right before the first effects of the TCW.

My theory: when you alter history though time-travel, you do not experience the effects of the alteration because you are outside your proper time-frame. The crew of Enterprise was outside their proper time-frame when the TCW's effects were changed/erased, and thus were not affected by said changes/erasure.
