Enterprise 10-15-04

I wondered about this as well. Whatever the reason, it probably also explains why all the Earth ships were centered on Earth at the end. Because at the end of the previous season's timeline, the super weapon was headed to Earth and presumably all ships capable of damaging the weapon where stationed around Earth for defense.

I can understand them not being changed because they went back in time and thus became Time agents. However if last seasons timeline is still in tact that means the TCW still happened and is still effecting them and their timeline. If the TCW never happened, which is what I got from Daniels, then Enterprise's timeline should have been reset back to the beginning of Season 1.

I didn't like the fact that they killed of Silik as he was one of my favorite characters. The supporting characters were pretty bland such as the black lady and the mobsters.
Silik dead? Bah! They killed Daniels at the end of the first part, but he's alive and well at the end of the second part. So there's no reason they can't bring Silik back either.

And I liked seeing the Mafia plug all those Nazis.

Maybe, but there's a lot of stuff they did in the first two seasons that had nothing to do with the TCW at all. So why would that stuff change?

Anyway, I have hope that Coto will salvage the show and make it into something good. I've read that he's somewhat of a Trek fan himself, and that he wants to do the kinds of episodes that he'd want to see as a fan, storylines that are related to the birth of the Federation and exploring and expanding material that we saw a lot of in TOS. If he does that well, Enterprise will be good.

I do hope you are right. The Daniels being alive thing makes more sense because he's a time traveler. Silik is not. I wouldn't be surprised if he comes back but the fact remains that he is dead and there was a body which probably means that we won't see him for a while or at all.

This reminded me of something that irked me. Soldiers with SMG's, a machine gun nest and cover don't immediately moe down a bunch of people who spend too much time getting out of a car. My suspension of disbelief bent too far but I forgive because I liked the rest.
