Enterprise 10-08-04

H.G. Wells published The Time Machine in 1895. War of the Worlds came along in 1898. Heinlein, Asimov, and EE "Doc" Smith were all publishing major works before 1944. In the US, 1941 marked the greatest number of Sci-fi/fantasy magazine titles ever published.

The ideas of time travel, aliens, and outside meddling in human affairs were already well established in the literature by 1944 :)

Just saw Enterprise this morning, plus five hours of other stuff(all scific) taped.

I like it a LOT.

The best scene for me, is that 'puppy-miss-the-best-friend-look' from T'Pol(being speechless), upon seeing a certain familiar face.:) .

Well 21 shows left, Manny Coto, make everyone of them count.:D

Almost forgot, the new ditigal format is real cool.

ooh, I liked that episode.

bugged me how travis and tripp got caught though.

That bothered me, considering how often they would say in TOS how a bunch of red-shirts armed with hand-phasers could decimate an army with 20th century technology. Not to mention there were plenty of places they could have easily ran and hid to in a forest...

Yes, because when you're trapped back in the past, trying to set things right, the first thing you want to do is start killing off the great-great-grandfathers of gosh only knows who :)

*IF* they don't mind killing people.

yup! ... the Mako's would have surveyed thea rea first and had some sort of perimiter ready to go and emergency transport out ...

then again, Mark's right ... I'm sure they're [trip and travis] going to be instrumental in disabling the conduit (and probably escaping with silik's help)

somewhat predictable (or guessable) but I did have a very enjoyable time watching the episode.

I liked the Resistance. :)

"Well there are certain sections of New York, Major, that I wouldn't advise you to try to invade." - Rick, "Casablanca"

Watched it again. Anybody think the resistance fighter caught, but never shown, who's name escapes me will help Trip and Tucker escape?

OH MAN!
I just saw the teaser for next week of the Enterprise flying over a bombed out city, fighting German Luftwaffe planes. God I hope it rocks.
I missed that Friday, glad I sat to watch it again!
