Can you elaborate?
Partly repeating myself from the kuo-toa thread:
  • Lore is less interesting to read than 2014, with fewer implied adventure and world-building ideas.
  • The slightly more condensed, slightly less "natural language" statblock is also slightly harder for me to parse (especially the reactions). I had actually expected more structure to improve readability, so that was a surprise.
There are also weird inconsistencies between descriptions and the statblocks, and between wording in different statblocks, but I expect that to be ironed out before release.

To be clear, the 2024 MM isn't unappealing, and there are a few new things I'm seeing that I like (like the random tables). However, I need something overall as good, if not better, than 2014's, and it's not meeting that bar so far. (But it isn't giving me a "yuck" response like the 4e Monster Manual did, FWIW.)

It doesn't look better than the Level Up Monstrous Menagerie, so I don't see the point personally.

So far, it doesn't look like these "2024 Revealed!" threads have changed very many minds. Which makes sense; I don't think that was ever anyone's goal.
Notable problem with the poll.... There are no options to indicate that you were undecided or on the fence and now that has changed. Anyone who was not firmly decided one way or the other needs to either skip this poll or retcon a firm decision into their past "hmm....".

True. I doubt it would matter much, though. The PHB reveals do not appear to be having much impact other than getting people to,yet again, argue incessantly about Stealth.
