Heart of Artifice Temporary--Kharas Alone

"Meat, vegetable, fruits, milk, bread... plants and vegetable of our world gives us all we need to eat. Stones, metals and alloy are use to create objects, but few creatures in my world eat such things, and they are generally rare, exotic and dangerous creatures." tells Kharas. "Talking about food... I woudl dare to ask you a small plate. I start to be hungry. What do you have?"

"You're silly, Kharas! We don't eat stone, or Thelanium either. We use it to make food. Preparing food other ways is less tasteful, less nourishing, and generally gives me indigestion."

"So you'd like a meal, then? Will you be staying at my inn for the evening then? Our dinners are usually pretty good--people tell me I'm a talented cook. Let's see--tonight I'm going to make a shrimp scampi with garlic and lathash. Our specialty drink tonight is strawberry daiquiri. Do dwarves drink alcohol also?"

"If we drink alcool? Ah! That's the proof you've never seen a dwarf before. We brew the best ales and spirit in my world. We love drinking and generally can drink more than other races because we have more endurence in general, including face to alcool effect." tells Kharas. "Yes, I,ll stay here. And if you can explain me how Thelarium is use to make food more nourishing."

*Liliara leads him towards the inn's entrance.*

"Oh, well...it's hard to explain, I guess. You just use the Thelanium to unlock the inner flavour. It's like cooking, but better."

Kharas follow Liliara into the Inn. "I wonder where are the others. If I still had that drakeflyer, I could just quickly go to teh place I appear into that world in case they had successfully followed me... oh, yeah, I thikn I forgot to tell you I wasn't alone in the search of those kids. We are four. Two humans and a warforged are with me, or should I say, was with me. Now, I can only guess where they are."

"They don't look like me, but I think they get out of the crowd just like me." replies Kharas. He find a seat in the Inn and relax. He removes his armor and start to inspect it. The earlier combat have been really hard, but his armor had gotten ditry and maybe one or two scales would need repair. An armor in good condition is an armor that protect well. "I'll let you do your job and stop waste your time. I have what I need to occupy myself a bit, but it would be interesting to speak later if you have time. A meal of shrimp sounds good, with the strawberry daiquiri. If you haev some cheese and bread to go with it, it would be welcome. I am a bit hungry. It seems I havn't eaten for a whole day. Too much emotion I think."

*Liliara nods.*

"I can make some bread. I'll make you some extra garlic and lathash cheese sauce and you can dip the bread in that. I'll see you at dinner then. Will you be paying now? I suppose it may be too much to expect that you carry our currency, but I can just take your Thelanium and call it even."

Kharas looks at the piece of Thelarium. "To be honest, if I can keep that Thelarium I would do so... Our currency is gold. I don't know if you value that metal. Or I can lend you my skills... but not sure how it could help you. I am familiar with Armors, Traps and magical item crafting. Well, I can only do scolls and potion and not all my recipe work perfectly yet. I'm still in training."

"Oh no, we don't use gold as currency. We have a paper currency that is backed by Thelanium--in other words, the paper is to make large exchanges efficient, and it can theoretically be turned in for Thelanium, though in practise people keep it and exchange it for other goods and services for the most part."

"Magical...item...crafting? Are you a Spark?"
