Heart of Artifice Temporary--Kharas Alone

"I don't know how...I...we just do it, I guess. Some people are better cooks than others, and some can barely do it at all. Then there's the Sparks, who can do much more amazing things with the Thelanium, things that we normal folk can barely imagine."

"I hope the Baron will have plenty of time to meet me. As being a Spark, he will be able to inform me more I think, and I could think I could be considered an apprentice Spark with the skill I have. If he can explain me more about the Thelanium, and I can find more Thelanium, I imagine what i could do with it once I come back to my world.

Let's eat that meal. I'm hungry and it smells pretty good."

*Liliara laughs.*

"Apprentice spark? Sparks are born, not made, silly. But I do hope the Baron can help you find those poor children...But yes, come on--let's eat!"

*Liliara brings out the shrimp scampi with garlic and lathash cheese, including extra garlic and lathash for Kharas to dip his bread if he likes. A waitress also serves the few other patrons of the small inn, and the other patrons begin to dig in.*

"So, you said dwarves like alcohol? Did you wantthat strawberry daiquiri?" Liliara asks.

"Well, Artificer are made in my world, and as you explain the skills of a Spark, it is similar to the artificer. It asks a lot of training to have such skill to create the items I've seen here, but with time and will, many could reach that level of skill.

And sure, I'll take some Daiquiri."
Tells Kharas, who heads back to teh common room to await his meal.

"Many can? That's very curious. I thought you said you've never seen much of the common things here in your world. Is that just because these...artificers don't feel like building them, or because they can't?"

"Ah, you probably don't know. Don't worry about it. I'll go mix you a daiquiri."

*Liliara leaves him to his meal for a moment before returning with the drink. The colour of the daiquiri is vibrant and the scent is distinct and full of flavour, though admittedly, most dwarves would probably prefer ale over fruit daiquiris.*

"It is more what the artificer want to build. The aspiration of your Spark and of our Artificer are not teh same. We just got out of a war, so many machine of war have been build lately, and many things have been destroyed during that war too. The warforged were meant to be soldier at the start. Also, we start to learn to create the more basic items, like scrolls and potion, before going wit more complex items, like constructs and flying machine." explain Kharas.

"See, that's different from a Spark too. With Thelanium, a Spark can build almost anything, right from the start. Sure, they can't handle the bigger and more complicated things until they practise their Talent, but they can still build something more impressive than scrolls...I guess that's why they're so amazing, though. You probably have a whole lot more artificers than we have Sparks, I bet."

"Yes. In a large city like this one, there is more than two Atrificer. Half my family are artificer, as we are trapmaker. We need to be able to create both mechanical and magical trap, that's part of our craft. Some spcialized in mechanical traps, other in magical traps, but generally, we learn both. A few member have just decide not to follwo our family business." explain Kharas.

He takes another sip of Daiquiri. "Good one. I prefer herbal alcool over fruit ones. But for a fruit drink, it is teh best I've drink."

"Oh, I see," Liliara nods.

"Good one. I prefer herbal alcool over fruit ones. But for a fruit drink, it is teh best I've drink."

*Liliara blushes.*

"Thank you. You're very kind. But you should try something made a real master some day--I'm just fairly average at mixing drinks."

He takes another sip of Daiquiri.

(OOC: This is the first time you explicitly had him eat or drink any of the food/drink, so...)

*The moment Kharas finishing drinking from the daiquiri, in addition to the usual feeling of alcohol, he feels an incredible inspirational rush, as if he can do anything, as if the sky is the limit. This feeling is only increased as he eats the shrimp scampi. Formulas, diagrams, construction plans, and blueprints for all the things he's ever imagined building flash through his head with great speed but also great clarity.*

"Do you have some parchemin, an ink pen and some ink? I would like to take some notes about a few things that come in mind. You know, flash of creation. I generally have them at night, and it cut my night in two, but I have a few ideas that could be interesting." asks Kharas.
