Heart of Artifice Temporary--Kharas Alone

"Oh...well, I believe in you Kharas..."

"Shall I bring out some Thelanium?"

 

[Velmont]

"I would need Thelanium and all the parts to build a construct... I mean, a Clank. Which mean wings, legs, a body, and head... of some mithral and a forge. Building it up and doing something that could work might take me the whole night... I think i'll be able to see teh Baron with a short night of sleep without too much problem..." tells Kharas.

"Ok, let's try. You pay for the materials I need and if I am succesfull, I"ll ask you a small fee for it, and paid in Thelanium. Let's say fifty percent of the value of the material it is need to create that bird. Sounds that good?"

[SBLOCK=OOC]Try to create a small bird, as asks. So it should be a cheaper version of the homonculus who has no poison special attack, onlly 1 HD and can use Ghost Sound at will to simulate any bird song. Something like that, following inspiration and not taking more than 1 day to create, as Kharas want to have it finish before going to see the Baron.[/SBLOCK]

*Liliara laughs.*

"All night? Not if you're a Spark it won't. That's why Sparks are so cool!"

"Aww, you wouldn't make it for free? What if I give you the night on the house?"

 

[Velmont]

"Artificers generally work hards to get things done. But I must tell I've enver write down so much things in such a short time, might do teh same for the clank... let's say for the week. I don't plan to stay that long anyway. Maybe just one night, but if things turn an unexpected way, I won't have to bother to find a roof to sleep under."

 

[Rystil Arden]

"Oh...okay then. Here, let me get some Thelanium, and you said Mithral?" Liliara suggests, heading away for a while and returning with a small amount of Thelanium--still much much more than she had used before, plus some mithral and other metals in case Kharas wants to use those, "Here--give it a try?"

 

[Velmont]

Kharas will try to build the bird. A body made of mithral and hollow as much as pissible to make it light enough to fly. The bird should be able to fly, to sing melodic and complex birds song and be able to follow simple order (like sing, silence, come, stay, fly away, fly around, ect...)

 

[Rystil Arden]

*When Kharas holds the thelanium in hand and concentrates on the design, he feels a fevered frenzy of ideas overtae him, and then he blacks out. When he regains consciousness, the bird is complete and whole constructed before him, as Liliara applauds and cheers enthusiastically.*

 

[Velmont]

"Hmmm... how much time did it takes... I kind of lost my sense of time while I did that." asks Kharas. He stares at his bird and he starts to wonder if he could go as far as build a warforge that way...

 

[Rystil Arden]

"Oh, I lost track of time watching you--it seemed like no time at all. Let me check..." she glances at a clockwork timepiece on the wall, "It was a little under ten minutes."

 

[Velmont]

"I must tell I never seen anyone doing that before me... Someone with my skill would not have been able to do it normally, and someone who could, would have done it in... let's say, a day of work. I think the Thelanium have something to do with that. That's a wonderfull material. If your Spark are woring with it every day, no wonder they perform so well compare to teh artificer of my world... maybe your spark and the artificer of my world are just the same, but we are less lucky and don't work with the best material."
