*As Kharas pushes the button, the sphere lights up and projects a small holographic image of the Baron's face (not unlike the projection of Leia in the first Star Wars movie):*
"Kharas, listen--there isn't much time. Leywytch Jadishtai is looking for you--she claims you're a heretic and terrorist, and she figured out that I've met you. Listen, she wants to capture you, and she's threatened to take away my Elysia as a vassal, and she'll do it too. You can't tell anyone about this--as you can see, few hold my beliefs that the Artifex Maximus is just a very talented Spark, so almost anyone will be willing to turn you over once the Leywytch makes her proclamation against you public, as the words of the Leywytch speak for the Artifex Maximus, and he is their god."
"All is not lost--I have found two good things. First, I detected the presence of a signature in this city other than you, somewhere out of the castle in the city proper. It looks like one of your four kids is there. Second, I noticed a time-lapse signature at the coordinates of a temple with lion statues. Elysia will know how to get there. Apparently the signature is periodic but only appears once every few hours--perhaps this is your way home?"
"The main exits are all being watched by minions of the Leywytch, as she thinks you may still be inside, but there's a secret way out that she doesn't know. I need you to head to the dungeons and take the secret passage to the catacombs--it's in the back between the fifth and sixth cells, eighth flagstone from the back will open it, it's a bit off-colour. I told Elysia to meet you there. Don't give her details, but you need to get her out of here--follow the passage through the catacombs to a secret exit, where there should be a broken Drakeflyer that you can repair and fly off. Please, nowhere in the Niaran Kingdoms will be safe for my daughter because of my help to you--I beg of you to hide her in your world for the time being, where we know she will be safe. Kharas, I'm counting on you. You're my only hope."
