OOC: Unless @Shadowedeyes objects, can we assume Valda is using the dwarven shield (even though we don't yet know what it does)? Also, I just wanted to remind everyone there are three doses of the "growth" potion left (Bible took one) which mimics the effects of the enlarge spell, so if your character uses weapons, it adds 1d4 to damage. It also gives advantage on Strength checks and saving throws.

OOC: Quinn doesn't need it. I primarily cast spells and would prefer to stay mobile.

The question is can Cordit take one in giant ape form? Though he probably needs to take it after he gets through the door.

@Hriston and @Shadowedeyes We also have that weird strength potion that Valda and Bible could take. If you both take 3 or 4 gulps you are guaranteed a strength of 21 with a high probability of 23.

OOC: Rules for the strength potion. We have 8 uses left before Bible uses it.

Potion of Cloud Giant Strength, but it's a gallon (4.5 litres). As an action, you can drink the whole thing if you pass a dc13 CON Save, and gain a 27 STR. Otherwise, if you take gulps (or if you fail the save) there are 10 uses, but you must roll 1d6: 1-3) a use is wasted; no effect; 4) STR 19; 5) STR 21; 6) STR 23. Each time you use it, you gain a cumulative +1 to future rolls. All STR gains last 1 hour.

Bible strides into the room as she grows to ten and a half feet in height and over a thousand pounds.

::Behold!:: she calls out in a booming voice, standing a few paces behind the chieftess, where she can be seen by Nosnra and the Stone Giant emissary, and holding aloft Waythe in one hand. ::I bear the sword of Prince Thyffon! The cloud gianks will not be joinin' you, Nosnra, an' your alliansk is at an end. Prepare to meet your doom!::

She throws the axe in her other hand at the chieftess.

OOC: Bible moves to AS/AT-53/54.

Handaxe attack: 1D20+10 = [1]+10 = 11

As her axe flies wild, she draws another from her belt aiming to bury it in the chieftess's head.

She grips Waythe in both hands, ready to meet the oncoming foe.

Valda hefted the new shield to get a feel for it's weight before taking swigs of the various potions that the rest of the group had found. She felt powerful as their effects took hold, and rushed into the room with a grim satisfaction, her already larger form continuing to grow as she drew upon the giant's runic magic she had already learned, allowing her to tower over the young hill giant as she rained heavy blows down upon it. As she did her gaze looked across the room and the normally taciturn fighter talked.

"Who's small now?"

OOC:
Valda will indeed use the Dwarven Shield, and take some gulps of the potion as well.

Potion of Giant Strength: 1D6 = [1] = 1

First roll has no effect.

Potion of Giant Strength: 1D6+1 = [2]+1 = 3

Second Roll also has no effect.

Potion of Giant Strength: 1D6+2 = [3]+2 = 5

Third roll finally does it, giving Valda a 21 Str for 1 hour. I will take one of the Growth potions just in case, since I think it can stack with my Rune Knight ability once I am in the room.

With that out of the way, Valda will move into the room to engage the young hill giant, activating Giant's Might as a bonus action, then will attack the young hill giant.

+1 Longsword Attack Rolls: 1D20+10 = [12]+10 = 22
1D20+10 = [8]+10 = 18

+1 Longsword First Damage Roll: 1D8+8+1D4+1D6 = [2]+8+[4]+[5] = 19

+1 Longsword Second Damage Roll: 1D8+8+1D4 = [8]+8+[2] = 18

Woo, finally done.
