OOC:
Cool -- I thought he'd fallen to the ground. 30' to get out, fire, 30' more in whatever direction will send him into trouble.

He did fall to the ground... Inside the barn. If he's gonna try to drop down the outside after climbing up the ladder, he's going to have to crawl past Drui, who is balancing in the door-frame, and jump. I guess he won't take 1d6 falling damage if he makes a dc10 athletics or acrobatics check.

Not sure where Titus is. He’d probably head towards the nearest baddie.

Can you not see him on the map? I often wonder if everyone can see my maps. He's behind the burnt-out farmhouse at G8. Morwin has been flying around and is at M16.

OOC:
Not needed, but I'll take it, if it comes -- [roll0]
Back to full!
We're having a communication breakdown, I think. That check is to prevent him hurting himself when he jumps from the loft door to the ground outside. He still took some damage when he knocked the loft down inside the barn. He also starts his turn prone (from that fall) so he'll lose some movement getting up.

Titus, Morwin & Tommi

Titus ran to help the elves who were about to be accosted by a Bugbear. He sent his familiar Morwin to dive-bomb the brute. The winged cat hissed and scratched, causing the bugbear to duck and swat at it. By this time, Tommi had climbed to the top of the ladder inside the collapsed hay-loft. He slid past Drui, balancing in the short doorway, and hit the ground outside with a nicely tucked roll.

"Hey, Fuzz-face, over here!" he called. Striking the creature in the cheek with a sling-stone to get its attention, he ran past.

Goblin3

The last of the goblins had ducked out of sight and crept his way to the corner of the burnt-out cottage they had hidden in. He tracked Titus with his little bow and sent a small but fiendish arrow into the arm of the young nobleman.

GM: Okay, so I took some liberty with Titus to get things moving. He dashed up to the bugbear and sent Morwin in. Morwin gave Tommi advantage, so I didn't have to roll for Tommi's disadvantage that he got from being 'poisoned' from the smoke. Unfortunately, even though they cancel out, the disadvantage still knocks out Tommi's sneak attack. I hope all of that makes sense to everyone.

Damage Taken:

(BGs) Bugbear 4 (Tommi's stone)
(PCs) Titus 7 (G3's arrow)

Angis coughed and reviewed his options. The barn door was nailed shut and the place was rapidly filling with smoke and fire. Drui was waving at him through the haze from an unstable perch on the loft's small doorframe as smoke poured past him into the daylight outside.

OOC: I still need Drui and Angis to roll dc11 Con Saves against the smoke, though I guess they both have advantage from it being a 'poison' effect. I guess Dwarves are used to filling their lungs with smoke! And just as a reminder in case you missed the previous post on the subject - Angis can break open the barn door with a dc16 Strength check - or he can go climb the ladder and jump out the loft door. He'll have to run past part of the fire to get there, and he'll have to roll a dc10 athletics to land on his feet outside. Both may result in damage. Of course, staying inside will too.

"ORB1 is down." There was no emotion in Enseth's voice. But still, it took him a few cycles to come back into the fight.

The fire was too big.
Still some friends inside the barn.
Multiple opponents but his Friends should be able to take care of them.

Enseth calculates the outcome of the situation and chooses to get Angis out of the barn, fast. The Shield Guardian's fist switched mode and transformed into a battering ram before he breached in. Thanks to Enseth's Master who made him a construct, he went through the column of smoke without harm. Inside the barn, Enseth turned on his headlight and called for the Ranger while covering the exit with his shield in case of incoming arrows.

"OVER HERE!"

OOC: Action: Strength check: 1D20+7 = [15]+7 = 22 (+4 ram)
I'm note sure where the door is, but maybe with a 22, Enseth can go trough the wall if the door is on another side.
If there is to much fire, Enseth strafes along the barn before breaking the wall and so, Angis doesn't burn himself while getting out.

Morning
Round 2

Angis ran to the barn door and stared at the heavy wooden beam that was nailed shut. He growled at the thoroughness of the trap. Then he paused and tilted his head as something came to him. Reaching out, he put his hand on the door.

Before he could cast the spell that the Elk had given him, he took in a lungful of smoke and started hacking. Then Enseth’s fist smashed through the door (or wall), clearing the way for the dwarven ranger.

“Thank ye (cough), my friend (cough),” Angis said, darting out of the barn and for whatever cover was available.

OOC: Not sure where Angis is coming out, so not sure what I can attack. He will take the Dodge action this round.
