Sure enough, looking into the waters of the lower lake, Kurzon can see a scrawny lizardman slowly swimming toward the group. He is unarmed (apart from his natural teeth and claws) and appears to be non-agressive. Kurzon can see Aquaria gliding through the water toward the creature.

Eko the bat flutters down the man-made tunnel. It leads to a wider, long hall, brightly lit by sconces on both sides of the archway of a set of double-doors on his right. Eko sets down (clinging upside-down) to a support-beam on the ceiling. Two guards stand by these doors. Further down the long hall, there are at least a dozen men engaged in a heated debate. In the light of the wall-sconces (which continue down the grand hall) it is hard for the bat to see, but there appears to be an enormous alcove beyond the arguing men, and something very large seems to be moving there. He could get a better look, but he would have to risk being seen by the nearby guards...

Udit lowered his bow (but kept the arrow knocked) and looked at his companions.

"Does anyone speak, uh, lizardmanereese? Lizardmanish? Lizarmanian?... that?"

When the Hydra died, the three Genasi siblings gathered in a circle, having a telepathic conversation. One of them had had a breakthrough, and she wanted to share it with her siblings.

It was the power to open a third, magical eye within their minds. This third eye, this second sight, could pierce darkness, illusions, and even allow them to see through walls!

As Aquaria swam to meet the Lizardman, she contacted him through telepathy.

"Hello," she said kindly in his head, "can you speak common?"

While treading water, the lizardman turns to Aquaria and says meekly, "Ghk, hxsiss gohmmg ddrhaggo."

OOC: Or to answer her question, "No". He speaks a dialect related to Draconic. Anyone?

He appears happy to follow her to shore, if no one threatens him.

OOC: While this is happening, Imani continues to discuss plans with whoever has a sending stone. (There are two here and Sesto has one in the Altar room. All three are active. Feel free to chime in.

And Eko is clinging to the ceiling between the corridor and the Grand Hall, watching out for the guards who guard a door.

Aquaria frowns. Her brother, Pyrus, speaks Draconic, but he wasn't there. If no one else speaks it, any conversation will have to be telepathic, as telepathy transcends language.

Lorenn let Eko there to watch over this passage and warn him telepathically if there is incoming.

"Guys, beside the incoming lizard, I've got some intel. The eastern corridor ends on a big room with 14 cultists and a lot of doors. You don't put so many guards for the blanket stockroom..."
