Hi Fieari mate!

You might want to consider allowing the three different types of quintessence to stack instead of overlap, and then make the event grant multiple types of quintessence.

They do stack.

Yes it is! My friends and I have been trying different approaches to playing epic/immortal level games for years, most of them home-breded! It's great to have a detailed system for every level of play...

Well if you can't earn it, steal it!

I always liked the idea that Zagyg imprisoned the nine gods in Castle Greyhawk so that he could siphon some of their quintessence (using epic spells/artifacts), which in turn made Zagyg a demi-power.

The main point in the game we are playing right now is a Diablo II 3.0 game with Forgotten Realm based PC's. They have just defeated a demi-power level demon lord and his minions. After this they have invaded the Diablo hell plane to take on the other two Demon lords. What I have to figure out is how much quintessence a immortal would get by absorbing a plane after defeating all the other powers on it???? One billion or 10 billion power points?

Well remember that the planes themselves are imprisoned Old Ones, so absorbing the power of a plane may not be all that easy.

Looking forward to the update UK! Do you have an estimate as to when you will complete this book?

Also, I've used the Silent One, Force Golem and Unelemental against my PCs. All were fun encounters, though the sorceress in my party figured out the Force Golem pretty quick and blasted it with a bunch of disjunctions. Oh well, cheers to smart PCs!

I know, but I am thinking of every source of quintessence that I can use for the accession. I just have to gain as many artifacts and epic spells for the upcoming battle. Nerver said this will be easy!

Hey guys!

I just updated (I'll be sending out copies to those who purchased via the website in a moment).

Chapter 4 is finished and spell-checked. That said, I think there are about 5-6 abilities that still need some work (primarily the 8th-10th Sense abilities and Cosmic Consciousness). So its not perfect, but its almost perfect.

If you can find any errata let me know here or by email.

I did get some work done on Chapter 3 as well, but have not been able to type it up yet (I know all the portfolio template powers up to Greater Power). So Chapter 3 is still a war zone at the minute. But I'll have that sorted ASAP. Its next on the hit list.

Meant to add I'll get to responding to all the posts on the forums in the morning - I am a bit shattered at the moment.
