Help!
Lets say I have a Fighter/Mage. XP is doled out for the encounter, lets say 5000 xp. Divided by 5 players, so 1000 xp each player.
Multiclass characters gain 500 to one class, and 500 to the other. Ok that makes sense so far. Now lets consider individual XP rewards.
So lets say the encounter had this fighter mage defeat 15 HD worth of enemies, while casting 2 level 3 spells to overcome them.
So 150 xp to the Fighter-side and 300 xp to the wizard side. Are these values halved to each side respectively? Or are they summed to the first xp reward and just halved resulting in equal xp values for both his classes regardless? Thanks
