Kulan: Knightfall's Heroes of Carnell Game [OOC]

With the nightshade now gone, the large spiders attack and try to eat any medium-sized spiders nearby. If there aren't any close by or they feel threatened, they will flee. Most of the spiders will flee into the hills but some might flee into the ruins, if such an escape seems safer. If the PCs try to kill any of them, they will defend themselves, of course.

Shouzas goes on a rampage and tries to kill all of the large spiders. With the nightshade gone, he is emboldened to get rid of them from his home.

Shouzas - Full Attack: 1D20+15 = [20]+15 = 35 (claw; critical threat)
1D20+15 = [1]+15 = 16 (claw; hit)
1D20+12 = [5]+12 = 17 (sting; hit)
---
Shouzas - Confirm Crit vs Large Spider: 1D20+15 = [20]+15 = 35 (critical hit!)
---
Shouzas - Critical Hit Damage vs 1st Large Spider: 2D8+14 = [6, 2]+14 = 22
Shouzas - Claw and Sting Damage vs 2nd Large Spider: 1D8+7 = [3]+7 = 10
2D4+3 = [2, 3]+3 = 8

@Tellerian Hawke, do you want Angus to go after the ones in the room where the snake was? That is where one of the large spiders is attacking and webbing up one of the smaller spiders. There is also the medium-sized spiders that fled into the ruins. One is hiding in the small treasure room. The others went back into the open corridor.

The bulk of the large spiders flee before Angus can act again. However, you can have him attack the spider that killed the medium-sized spider next to Caerth. That spider can only move 30 feet away, so it ends its movement climbing up the northern wall of the corridor.

I messed up. The nightshade saved vs. Phar's dismissal, but I went ahead wrote in my post that he dismissed the planar spider. I don't feel like going back and changing my posts, so I'll just say Phar was successful.

That is unless you'd all prefer to keep fighting against it.

It will take a bit of time to put the map back the way it was, and I'd rather not, but I'll leave it up to you guys.

I'm going to sleep now. It's past 2 a.m.

I was wondering!

I’m of two minds. I think, since the nightshade saved, things were about to get a lot tougher BUT I still think we were going to win, it just would have taken a few more turns and not likely to have too many long term consequences for the party. (I actually don’t know what would have happened if the Nightshade had hit someone and if they had failed their save though, so maybe I’m wrong)

By winning this way, we saved more spiders. - which might bite us (literally) later.

I’m fine to have the story go either way.

Let's just move on.

Of course, Angus wants to pursue and kill any of the spiders that he can get to, so there is that roleplaying consideration to consider.

I would think that Caerth wouldn't want to kill the fleeing spiders, but he won't stop Shouzas from defending his territory and lair from the remaining spiders.
