I hate to be the stick in the mud, but when the spiders started to turn on each other, that seemed off to Angus. He is CONVINCED that the spiders are corrupted. He will kill as many as he can catch, starting with the big spider who is wrapping up the little spider.
 

Unless someone can talk him out of it. I know you can't use persuasion on PCs, but if someone wants to try and use Diplomacy on Angus, I will allow him to be affected by it, but you will have to take the good with the bad; if his reaction score worsens, he won't get mad at you, but his rage against the spiders will increase.
 

I'd say that Angus starts out Friendly, but intent upon attacking. To make him stop attacking, you need to bring his attitude to Helpful. (DC 20); this will be a straight Diplomacy check, not opposed. (Angus isn't pleading a case, he's simply preparing to attack.)
 


It was a long night last night. I spent most of the night working on my timeline for Harqual and stayed up a bit too later. Went to bed really sore and took night time Tylenol. Then, my sister kept getting up because she couldn't go to sleep. She was coughing and feeling uneasy. She was feeling anxious. I couldn't relax while she was obviously going through some sort of emotional/physical crisis. She said she was fine, but she woke me up really early to tell me that she had called 811 and they told her to go to the hospital. I was groggy and fully in my sleep cycle, so while it did register, I was soon fading back to sleep. I just woke up. She's probably still there. I know she's call me when she has something to tell me, but now I'm the one who is anxious.

So tired. I just want to go back to sleep. But, I need to eat something and do laundry. Physio tomorrow.

How many Nightshade eggs: 2D4+12 = [4, 4]+12 = 20
DC 15 Knowledge (arcana OR the planes) check to know about the acid that protects the eggs and how to dispose of them properly.

If an egg is broken with a melee weapon, the character who breaks the egg takes 2d4 points of acid damage. Anyone within 5 ft. takes half as much damage. A DC 15 Reflex save halves the damage for the breaker and negates the damage to those within 5 ft.

The acid will react with the stone floor to cause noxious fumes to spread out within a 20 ft. radius. These fumes will cause the characters to become sickened unless a successful DC 15 Fortitude save

The PC gain 100 XP for each egg they destroy properly. Moving them out of the ruins first and then destroying them with fire or ranged weapons. If they simply break them with melee weapons, the PCs only get 25 XP for each egg.
