I think he just teleported into the middle of the shatter spell area I had in mind?
I'm not sure if you are kidding or not, but he's "south" of the leader (ac14), not in the middle of the bunch. Shatter isn't very big so...

I'm also reaaally feeling the low spell slot limit. I'm already out of warlock slots!
 

Re skeletons in 5e:

It varies slightly from edition to edition, but in 5e skeletons aren't mindless. They can solve basic problems and have an int of 6. Zombies are still complete imbeciles though.

This means that the mordguard won't do bonehead mistakes (ha!)... but neither will our foes.
 





I'm gonna try to get this round done today. A few questions: I assume the Wight that Mord is targeting with Shatter is the one that is closest to the Giant, right? Shatter only has a 10' radius sphere, and the cliffs are 30 feet up, so you can rain some ice down on the giant's head, or you can get the giant and the ice under the Wight's feet (maybe taking the cliff down) but I'm not really sure how you can get both of them with the spell. (Well, not fully anyway).
 

It looked to me like they were at the same altitude level?

Perhaps he can hit the head and shoulders of the giant, depending on how tall it is?
 

They're definitely both up on cliffs. Maybe not the same platforms, but there's no range values to differentiate between. I can only make assumptions based on the information at hand.
