He's a good man, good scout. Prefers a bow but will use two short swords in a pinch. Friends with Lorenn. Feels bad he got Kelley killed when he convinced the less experienced scout to come along. That's about all I know about him. I didn't imagine that he knows any magic, so pick stuff that's more subtle in its effects and downplay its magicky-ness.
 


Too easy. I'll work him up in a bit. Not going to worry about money if I can help it and just give him a basic loadout along the lines suggested.

Okay, I'm going to try to keep the magic subtle. But I'll be playing Torbin as if he's just been holding back because he didn't fully trust the group until just now. Losing Kelley added to that, but watching Bob's sacrifice convinced him to stop holding back.

Sounds good but I don't want you to jump into this fight with a jacked-to-full fifth level PC. Wait until after the long rest. (Assuming you get one - otherwise I will work out where he is at resource-wise)
