Oh !@#$! I forgot it was Friday. Ran to turn on the teevee when I saw this topic and realised I'd just missed it. Dang and dang. Not many more chances, and this one was lost.

Fudge.

Does your local UPN not reair it on Sunday night?

Not too bad an episode. Although I am guessing that since we still have flat head Kligons in TOS that Phlox either cures it or makes that Klingons are still experimenting.

Not that I'm aware of, but then, I am not the most fastidious follower of teevee guides. If I'm off work, I watch a show I like. If I'm not, then dang and drat. Tend to work Sundays...

Maybe my father taped it...

Hmmm...I'm not sure I liked this episode. It had parts that were really good and then others that were not too great. Sure glad Enterprise ended up with only a semi-competent engineer to replace Trip. ;)

Over all - the episode was a 50-50 for me. I liked the Trip stuff, but wasn't too keen on the rest.

Seth MacFarlane also did a cameo role. I should've paid more attention to where he showed up. He played 'Ensign Rivers,' and I think this was his first speaking cameo. Other times, he just shows up as an engineer with no lines.

Did anyone catch him or have a screenshot of him when he appeared?

My favorite part was when Phlox was arguing with the Klingon physician about not wanting to kill the infected Klingon so they could do an autopsy on him, and the Klingon General whips out his disruptor and shoots the guy. A very Klingon reaction!

And the targ was kind of cute, in a "so ugly it's cute" kind of way.

As for LT Reed, I was thinking "Section 31" as well.

Johnathan

I think when Reed said: "I'm not a part of your section anymore." it kinda rubbed
the Section 31 angle part in a bit, though they probably aren't called that yet as
the Section 31 name comes from the 30 sections of Federation/Starfleet charter.

Anyone else notice the '[somthing] Starfleet - United Earth - Space Probe Agency'
shield in the Columbias's captain mess hall? How cool is that (in a totally non-cool
geeky fanboy way)!

I'm of the 'let it lie' camp when it comes to Klingon foreheads, but fair's fair and they
gave us a pretty neat explaination. I liked this episode.

Anyone else thinking 'Speed' in the final scene?
