I first had calzone for the first time in college on the East Coast in the late 1980s. Stromboli were also available, although I don't think either were well-known away from the Midatlantic region at that point.

Stromboli, as I recall, are actually an NYC invention -- a way for blue collar workers to carry a pizza back to their workplace at lunch time and eat it one-handed while on the subway, etc. I've been making them at home many weekends during the pandemic and they're a great (and easy) meal.

Called Walmart today to see roughly when my W-2 would be in and they give me a 1-800 number to call. I call and after giving the lady all my info, she can't find me. She asked what my employee number was and I told her I had no clue. She asked who my supervisor was and I said I wasn't sure about that. Then she asked what department I worked in and I informed her that I'm a self checkout cashier.
The lady proceeded to say " ma'am, really?" followed by a loud CLICK.
Such unprofessionalism from the corporate office.

So, if I'm eating Kelloggs Cornflakes in the dining vommons, and somebody comes in, takes a whizz in my Cornflakes and starts lecturing about the evils of Kellogs and Capitalism in general...Kelloggs and abstraxt CAPITALISM ain't the one who whizzed in my Cornflakes, and no matter how good the points are it's a little difficult to look past that.
How many times do I have to apologize for whizzing in your Cornflakes? Look, Kellogs was the company that made me need to pee! It's all their fault!
