Thirst for power (Finished) (Knight Otu judging)

Cure Light Wounds potion (1d8+1=5)

Draig's senses begin to return to him and his eyes open. The clang of metal brings his adrenaline flowing, and the searing pain in his side brings his wounds to the forefront of his mind. Opening his eyes he takes stock of the situation and reaches for his wand to heal his wounds.

ooc: OK, I'm a little confused about where everyone is, so I'm not 100% if Draig's threatened at the moment. He wants to draw the wand of cure light wounds and heal himself (1 charge from the Wand of Cure Light Wounds (1d8+1=6)), ideally getting to his feet if he can do so without provoking.

Round seven

The now healed Draig sits, draws the wand of cure light wounds and pronounces the magical word that invoke it´s power, totally closing the wound in his side and easing his pain a lot.

Now that Draig is able to walk Beamer thinks on his hide and seeks cover again. “What now?” he shouts.

Meanwhile Banion continue dodging his foe’s attacks, who grunts menacingly every time he fails. Finally the halfling grown overconfident as he dodges the attacks so eaily, and stumbles on a loose stone. “Hah!” screams the half orc, who darts forward and manages to scratch Banion’s cheek with one of his shortwords.

[ooc: Banion “loads” the mindblade while fighting defensively.

Beamer moves.

Draig draws (move) the wand and uses it (standard) He´s still prone, though not threatened.

Banion’s opponent rolls a 20 to hit and finally scores a wound (8 hp)

Party status: Beamer 13 damage, Banion 22 damage, Draig 12 damage

Banion’s spells: 0:5 1:2 2:1]

Continuing in his ploy to let Fraig get back on his feat, Banion will continue to full defend and will tumble away from his attacker, leading him further away from Draig and Beamer.

He botches the tumble (1d20+12=13) (with a natural 1) drawing an AOO.

"Hey, Beamer! Blast this guy and let's get out of here!"

Using another charge from the wand, Draig heals himself more (for 3 points), before pulling himself to his feet ready to charge back into the fray to help Banion, taking a step towards his ally.

Round eight

A shortsword whizzes over Banion as he rolls under the thug’s legs and runs away. Instead of pursuing, his opponent looks around, watching Draig solidly again on his feet and Beamer’s spell hitting him in the chest. His knees buckle for a moment, and he loses his confidence. He retreats to the cart, and finds out with relief how his companions shake again the glittering dust off themselves. “It’s them or us” says one of them “Let the other cart finish the guards.”

The guy that was fighting with Banion whispers:

[sblock=Listen DC 15]Go for the wizard and the dwarf. The halfling with the glowing knife is too quick[/sblock]

[ooc: Banion tumbles 15 ft away, drawing an AoO that fails

Draig heals himself and gets up. Notice that your urgosh is still on the floor (an unfortunate side effect of unconsciousness is dropping things). You´ll need two extra move actions to store the wand and pick up your weapon (unless you want to drop the wand as a free action)

Beamer blasts the thug with a Ray of enfeeblement spell; it hits without problem and causes 5 points of Str penalty.

The guy that was attacking Banion falls back and regroups with those still around the cart, but spreads a little to avoid more Glitterdust attacks.

Second Glitterdust ends. Around the cart there are still two attackers, not counting the guy that just retreated to them. That makes three enemies, one of them weakened by Beamer’s spell.

Party status: Beamer 13 damage, Banion 22 damage, Draig 9 damage

Banion’s spells: 0:5 1:1 2:1]
