Thirst for power (Finished) (Knight Otu judging)

Draig looks over the guards to see if there's anyone unconcious and in immediate danger of dying - if there is he'll kick their weapons away and heal them immediately with the Wand of Cure Light Wounds. After trying to keep any guards he can alive he'll turn his attention to the party, muttering "Wasn't worried about the expense..."

Draig checks on the wounded enemies. The last one he felled, the owner of the shotswords that caught his attention, seems to be alive, as is the fire spellcaster. None of them appear to be in danger of dying, except one of the warehouse's guards, who he heals using a charge. The mand kneels and vomits.

Banion checks the weapons. Only those two shortswords seem to be of any special value, so they go into the Haversack.

Beamer casts his spell, and shouts of "Fire!" echo in the night. He's now the proud owner of the wand, too.

As for the fire, you can't really see how spread it is, since the goods in the front of you block your view of what happens behind. However, another man dressed right like the ones you've just fought appears behind one of the crates, as if he entered through the other door and made his way through the inside of the building. When he sees the carnage, he quickly turns and runs.

ooc: That man's initiative is 5. If you can beat him you can do something before he dissapears. He's 40 feet away and has cover.

ooc: Also, Banion was taking all the weapons, not just the valuable ones... don't want to leave one at hand if a badguy regains conciousness.

Draig's initiative: 1d20+3 = 14

Pulling out his sling, Draig takes a shot at the fleeing man, hoping that they can bring him down for questioning before he gets away.

Attack: 1d20+5 = 13; Damage: 1d4+3 = 4

OOC: Not sure if this guy is a half-orc as well. If he is then of course there's another 2 points of damage that are applicable. Of course, Draig has probably missed anyway.

Two supernatural missiles hit the newcomer, who quickly retreats out of sight shouting something that sounds like a warning. After a few seconds, nobody else comes from that same spot, though you still can hear activity.

Banion manifests and charges a new mindblade (two move actions) and continues to gather up weapons and other valuables. Occasionally, he glances at Draig to see if the ranger has finished with his other tasks and ready to provide healing.
