[WoT Adventure] Turn 5

A look of utter disdain fills her face as Jain seemingly questions Lila Sedai's wisdom.

"Jain, show some respect, I know your better then this. If you
must act like a child, I will find some toys for you to play with if you are unable to leave things to us adults. I will not abide by incivility, even if I must spend the next ten years tanning your bottom."

OOC: Jain's post managed to slip in while I was working on another one; I didn't see it until a few minutes ago.

"Secrets are dangerous things, Lila Sedai. This whole debacle may be because of yours, thats why i asked. Honostly, i don't care if you share or not, so long as it doesn't put my friends in danger."

Lila simply glares at him, with a look that could bore holes in cuendillar. <A 21 on her intimidate check means that she did successfully intimidate Jain.>

Sirsei snaps her fingers and shakes her head. The answer was right there in front of her, "Lila Sedai, could he have used The Ways? Is Caemlyn Ogier built? I've seen a few buildings that remind me of Tar Valon. If so, there would be a Grove and a Waygate.

"Could you Trace him if he had entered the Ways?"

"I do not know." Lila said, considering. "But no one has ever made it out of the Ways without an Ogier guide, and even the Ogier do not consider the Ways safe to travel anymore."

 

[Shalimar Shiawase]

"If we are at a dead end, may I be excused Lila Sedai, I am feeling a little tired but I am not quite sure why. I should be fine with a little rest though."

Maybe I should get some rest, and just forget about all of this. I am sure Sirsei can fill me in on what happens, and I am very tired. I just need to speak to Yuri first. I probably have him all confused, scolding him, and then not watching myself and calling him love.

She looks imploringly at Lila Sedai to let her go and get this over with, and let her rest.

"If we are at a dead end, may I be excused Lila Sedai, I am feeling a little tired but I am not quite sure why. I should be fine with a little rest though."

"You may leave; I do not think we have much more to say here. But if you had left Healing Yuri and all but the most severely injured of those men to me, you would be quite a bit less tired. You will not reach the shawl any sooner if you try to push yourself beyond what you can do safely." Lila says, dismissing Shalimar.

"Um, speaking of which Lila Sedai, would you please take a look at my shoulder?"

[I'm still down 2 hp, I believe]

 

[Shalimar Shiawase]

Shalimar blushes at Lila Sedai's comment about doing more then she could safely. Shalimar will try to push off the chair in her usual, energetic manner. Failing she will bounce on the cushion, letting out a startled "umpff"

"Maybe I should just wait here, I am not as tired as I thought I was." She says trying to cover her graceless perfomance and exhaustion. It might have worked if she hadn't umpffed so loud, or winced.

"I will wait, for you Yuri, I still would like to talk to you about something in private, if you'll help me up the stairs." She adds the very last in a low voice just for him trying to cover her embaressment.

Look at me, I have known these people for two days, and twice I have been so tired I could barely walk around them. They must think I am so weak. Its not fair, I will get better at this, I will. I wont let them see me like this again. Lila Sedai was right. I do too much, I am not Super Woman.

"Of course." Lila said, walking over beside him. She laid her hand on his shoulder, and wove Air, Water, and Spirit into Healing <level 1>.

[OOC: Once you hit 2nd level, no one will Heal only 2 points of damage, Yuri; you can recover from that just by sleeping through the night.]

[ooc: meh, for those with the Healing talent that's 2 0-level weaves...hardly very useful otherwise, but I see where you're coming from. Besides, it prevents scarring, and Yuri's already got a super-grande one of those. I'll just have to bug Shalimar into healing me...]

With his shoulder feeling as good as new, Yuri offers Shalimar an arm and escorts her to her room at the inn.

[OOC: sorry for the delay...my normal moring posting time, the damn boards were down for maintenance.]

When Yuri asks Lord Tomas about his aquisition of the Mail shirt, Lord Tomas' first starts to tense. But realizing that Yuri means only to help, and his advice in matrial matters is nothing to scoff at. Lord Tomas smiles easily at the Kandori, one of the few smiles this group has seen. "You've only seen me fight armorless, because like a common fool, I forgot to pack my armor when I left home for Caemlyn." Lord Tomas chuckles softly, "Fear not, I have trained quite a bit with Mail shirts. But nothing heavier." Lord Tomas glances at the others and continues softly to Yuri, "The way things seem to be going, the pattern keeps forcing me along with the rest of you. If it continues, I would be honored if you would help me with my swordsmanship."

"Now if only the girls could learn to ask rather than demand, we all might have a chance at becoming friends."
