I would not get DDI for any edition, including 4th.

For the record, I have not played anything before 3.x since 3.x came out, though I still play 3.x now.

The devil's in the details. It would depend on exactly how they supported the edition - each edition has different needs, and all.

No...

Although, I recall my happy thoughts about the DDI services at the start of 4e. The lack of delivery of goods pretty much seals that fate - I am not paying money to DDI for erratic promises. It's nothing personal...all practical.

For people who DO NOT have a DDI subscription, would you get one if DDI included support for older editions? Also, how many would subscribe to a DDI type service if Paizo developed one for Pathfinder? (I know that Paizo may not have the money to develop such a product, but purely conjecture, would you be interested?)

Please pick only one D&D edition please (the one you would primarily like to see supported). But if you'd like to see a Paizo/Pathfinder version, pick that also.

The poll allows multiple choices so that Paizo/Pathfinder could be included, but as far as D&D editions, please pick only one.

What I was wondering is, how many extra customers might WotC pick up if DDI included older editions (such as a Character Builder, Monster Builder, Encounter Builder, and an occasional older edtion Dragon/Dungeon article/adventure)?

B-)

That depends on what and how much they do. If it stays all 4e and just throws a odd article to older edition or odd adventure, then no. Just throwing a bone or one article a week/month to whatever edition I supprt wouldnt get me to subscribe.

It have to be full on support. Otherwise no.

I do subscribe to DDI already, so I voted "lemon curry". However, as a DDI subscriber, I would be very happy if I could access a 1e Compendium, for example. I would be ecstatic if earlier edition .pdfs became available in the same way that Dragon and Dungeon are now.

A DDI resource for 3.5? One that'd have all of the materials from all the 3.5 (and perhaps 3.0) sourcebooks, magazines, and web articles right there, easily selectable, reference-able, and mix-and-match-able?

Whoa...

That just might be enough to tempt me into it.

If Paizo made one for Pathfinder, I'd have subscribed to it yesterday.
