MnM3 Centropolis (Re-bot)

I'm strongly thinking of breaking my own rule that I wouldn't try to get into this game until after getting my own up and running.

My three ideas are:

• Galatea 2.0: I've learned some facts about character building in M&M and I think I could make her a brick with some movement and ranged abilities very easily. Much more tactically fun. And she could easily just come back after failing at her attempt at quasi civilian life.
• "Gravity Girl": Gravity control with all sorts of alternate effects, plus martial arts that incorporate her gravity control to do the impossible. Likely a tech person.
• "Dr. Spectrum": A missing in action "old Centurion" who is a living construct of "Hard light" from the danger room. Powerset is basically a green lantern ripoff.

All of those would be great...

I couldn't afford a proper sidekick. The innate shrinking costs too much.

Example: a kitten that scampers around her feet, warning her about anything going on behind her

Brandon is a 15 year son of old money. His parents would look down on him being serious about such a girl. Oh, wait, you should worry. He might think she's a great way to annoy the parents. Though I don't see him meeting her any time soon. He will probably never show up to "headquarters" as Brandon. And his parents don't like supers so he can't really tell them he's secretly Princess Starlight.

(Of course, how he's going to keep this secret when his power makes him painfully obvious, I have no idea. It's not like ducking into a dark alley and then creating a big burst of light won't eventually cause him to be filmed changing into the Princess.)

At this point I'd have to rejigger too many things to make an animal familiar. There are plenty of genre stories where the talking animal sidekick shows up in episode 4.
