D&D 5E Xanathar's Guide to Everything: What subclasses made the cut?

This is the second time I have heard this today, and it makes no sense to me. This would mean the Deep Stalker can would be reserved solely for the Revised Ranger, which makes no sense.
They're on record as making all subclasses intercompatible between the two versions of Ranger: the level the subclass kicks in is the only difference.

nothing about this statement makes sense. how on earth would that make it solely for the revised ranger?
Are you under the impression that no subclasses written anywhere else would work with the revised ranger then? kinda defeats the purpose of a revision if you can't use it with anything else.

Sorry, this was worded poorly. I meant that a player wanting to play a Deep Stalker would be forced to choose the Revised Ranger document as their +1, which cuts it off from other options for AL play. Much more likely that they release the Deep Stalker for the Base Ranger now rather than save it for that specific document.

Glamour Bard
Forge Cleric
Dreams Druid
Cavalier, Samurai, Arcane Archer Fighters
Horizon Walker, Monster Slayer Rangers
Inquisitive Rogue
Shadow, Divine Soul Sorcerer
Celestial Warlock

Confirmed Subclasses. If we include the Hascon Previews, Scout, and the Revised UAs that have been released we get this list:

Ancestral Guardian Barbarian
Glamour, Swords Bards
Forge Cleric
Dreams, Sheppard Druids
Cavalier, Samurai, Arcane Archer Fighters
Kensai, Drunken Master Monks
Conquest, Redemption Paladins
Horizon Walker, Monster Slayer Rangers
Inquisitive, Scout Rogues
Shadow, Divine Soul Sorcerer
Celestial, Hexblade Warlock

That is 21. Maybe throw in Deep Stalker and Theurgist for 23 (both have been in multiple UA so have a good chance being here). That would leave 4 spots: 1 Barbarian, 1 Cleric, 2 wild cards. My guess would be another 2 of the following 3: Bard, Druid or Sorcerer.

Based on this list, the Cleric is due another subclass.
