Battle for Middle Earth: RTS on the PC

Anyone else really looking forward to this. The video previews just make it look awesome.

Ditto. Although my gaming schedule is maxed out, what with Half Life 2, Metal Gear Solid 3, Metroid Prime 2 all on my play lists. This fall/winter has been brutal; but in a good way.

But heres hoping the game plays a good as the spectacle it presents. And while it is an RTS, I hope it stays as close as it can to being Middle Earthy. (Unlike the LOTR RTS that came out last year..or earlier this year).

I was a little worried since IMHO EA got Middle Earth wrong in the rpg Third Age, but here's hoping. /crosses fingers.

Battle for Middle Earth and Armies of Exigo both look pretty good.

From what I have read and seen, the middle earth atmosphere is terrific, however, the story is obviously bent in a few places, since it's possible, that Sauron's or Saruman's forces win, the heroes die, and the Balrog storms Minas Tirith, among other things. It's an RTS game after all, so it must be a bit lenient there, I suppose.
