Boston EN World game a great success! Photo on p. 9!

Yay! I get to play. Thanks much!

I'd also like to be in on the breakfast gig. I'll bring a dozen blueberry muffins.

Joy!

Boston Game Day

PirateCat, is this something you are doing annually, or is it a one time deal? Sounds really cool, but it's not something I have the resources to do this year (like a full drivers' license, or a car for that matter, hehehe...), thought I don't live too prohibitively far away (Southern Ontario). Just wondering, and thanks for being so good to us all, :).

I'm not P-cat, but having been involved in these before, I can answer it.

These get-togethers are not on a regular schedule. They happen when P-cat feels like having a bunch of people over to his house to play games. He seems to have a habit of this, so they aren't exactly one-time things, either.

Presumably, we could arrange to have Bostonian get-togethers soemwhere else, but P-cat is so darned accomodating that we have little incentive to do so :)

With Piratecat threatening to mock me if I don't show, I'd love to take one of the evening Chthulhu slots, if they're still open. Mmm... Lovecraft....

At this point, Tom's eyes roll back in his head and he begins raving....

Ia! Ia! Chthuli Fhtagn! Ph'nglui mglw'nafh chthulhu r'lyeh wgah'nnagl fhtagn!

Umbran sings:

"Cthulhu fthagn! What a wonderful phrase!
Cthulhu fthagn ain't no passing craze!
It means no worries - it's the end of your days.
It's our problem free philosophy! Cthulhu fthagn!"

It's about time that slot was finally taken - I was shocked it lasted that long. IMO KidCthulhu is the single best gamemaster that I have ever gamed with*, and I was tempted to asked to change to that game as well, except that the Feng Shui game at the last ENWorld Boston Gameday sounded like way too much fun for me pass up a chance of playing that gamesystem.

It should be a great game day and we are really looking forward to it. We'd love to join you guys for the breakfast too, but getting a babysitter here on a Saturday morning early enough for us to make a 10AM game in Newton, MA will be challenging enough. We'll have to settle for lunch with the gang.

*Her husband being an extremely close second.

Sadly, Ao and I can't make breakfast either. But it's already a 5:30 am wake-up call here in Albany... When you see the bleary-eyed people arrive, that'll be us.

I think someone needs to donate a time machine to me, and give me a thousand bucks....

Play at my gameday, go back in time, catch a plane, go to boston, just sit and watch all these great games. Best of luck with your day chock full of gaming!!! :D
