I look really weird in this picture...so...I'd prefer to remain anon. Seriously, this is possibly the worst picture of me , ever taken. I sent my mom the link and she didn't even belive me that it was me... :(

It's not my greatest photogenic moment either, but as my face isn't going to get any less round they don't get much better. I consider any picture I'm genuinely smiling in to be good, so this one must be one of the best.

We only thought of one way to improve the day. Next time, we save up $50 or $60 for a hotel room.

Either that, or we'll plan ahead, and you can carpe couchum: seize the couch bed. Glad you made it home safely.

Better be careful making offers like that or you'll be running Chez Piratecat's Bed and Breakfast.

Or at least consult with Ao over his recent purchase of earplugs.

Wow, this thread grew fast!

First chance I've had to check in and say thanks to all who made the day so much fun. Especially PC, KC, and all the DM's. I always appreciate your efforts. :)

reason number one for why she should have been. :)

Er, no. If a person really doesn't want their picture taken, taking it really isn't constructive. It doesn't "desensitize" them. In fact, taking their pictures when they don't want it typically makes the issue worse, rather than better. At least IMHO.

As for Kris and pictures - approximately every few years she allows for pictures of her taken by a professional photographer. Our wedding photos were taken in 1989; A five-generation photo with our daughter, Kris, her mother, her Grandfather, and her Great-Grandmother in 1993; Also a photo of both of us holding our baby in 1993; and formal photo with all three kids in 1999; an informal photo of us with all three kids in 2000. I figure I'll wait another year or two before I push my luck about another one.

As for the games - while Dr. Midnight said that he didn't have time to actually write a "Story Hour" for the game I am really hoping that he can at least do a one or two page synopsis.

Just wanted to add my big thank you to P-Cat and Kid Cthullhu.
You guys are superb hosts! (the game day kind of hosts, not the kind that incubates demonic larvae...or at least , not just that kind) ;)

And a big manual ribbit to idarii, Clint and Snow Dog...and the whole crew. You guys were an awesome group. My hope is to play with y'all (ahem) at another game day, where I am sure we can squeeze in three games in one slot without difficulty. ;)

I also wanted to say that the group we played Spaceship 0 with was just outstanding we (Fluffaderm and I) had a blast. Also, hats off to P-Cat for running a top-notch game. Thanks for letting us "do our own thing" for so much of the game.

OK, so I'm already preparing for the next one. You just let me know when. ;)

This was my first game day and certainly not my last. I agree Spaceship Zero was awesome. Spycraft was awesome. PCat is awesome. :) That "ufo" made out of a pie plate and some string was awesome.

If only I'd been able to maintain my quasi British accent for all of Spycraft...

*sigh*

Game Days = Good Stuff.

As for photographs...I tend to hate having my picture taken too, so I have to agree with Umbran. I think pretty much every picture that exists of me that is less than 2 years old is actually in the member gallery. Aside from those, I'm usually behind the camera. But enough about that....

So , next game day? Can we have another one? Huh??? Can we?? Please??? :)
Pretty please??? Pretty Please with lots of sugary donuts and snack foods on top??? ;)
