hoo boy. Where did all the other Dallas people go?

I dunno. I hope we haven't gone from "can't wait, can't wait" to "ehh, if I don't have anything better going on I might show up." :]

DK - I have never fought a dragon, so I'll vote for the Green option! Is it pre-gen?

Bento, I'll sign up for yours, and der_kluge, I'd like to play in that Green Dragon thing as well...

assuming that you don't run them head to head, of course! ;)

On der_kluge's GD thing...if its not pregens, you need to tell us what books we can use.

(Crosses fingers, hoping for Dragon Compendium and XPH...)

Ok, the Green Dragon one it is.

It's made for 9th level PCs. Play whatever you want. I don't care. :)

er, no psionics. I'm not familiar with psionics. And there's a great deal of stuff I'm not familiar with, so if it's obscure, be prepared to help me understand it.

I'd like to play Hercules as a teenager... ;)

Actually, most of what I'd want out of Dragon Compendium is the feats- I'm currently planning on running a polearm warrior of some kind.

The other major questions I'd have on PC building are:

1) What races are you allowing? PHB only? MM races?

2) Are you using the Spell Compendium? I have a little tendency towards running warrior-wizards of some kind.

3) Given #2 above, there is a feat in the complete series that lets you further specialize a specialist wizard. Permissible?

Point buy for Greenie?

Races - stick to PHB races.

Ability scores - I use a standard array of 15,13,12,11,10,8 - place however you want. Add in 8 points whereever you want (nothing above 18), and then apply racial modifiers.

Magic items - purchased as per DMG guidelines.

I am in dallas area and would like to attend but am not sure where GenX is. So what is the nearest intersection?

Generation X Comics is in Bedford, TX, 1/2 mile north of Hwy 183 on Industrial Blvd. (157).

As you head north on Industrial Blvd., it's on the left (west) side just north of a large in-set shopping center and across the street from the First Baptist Church.

Link to Google Map:

UPDATE 6/15: I encourage everyone from the area to come by and play, but the store has a space limitation of up to 20 participants. As quiet as things have been on this thread, this will most likey be a non-issue. But if you're lurking and haven't posted, please drop us a note to let us know you're coming. Thanks!

Hope to see you there!
