Talin draws his rapier as the stirges swarm the group. From his hiding space he stabs out with his weapon. Unfortunately with all the creatures flapping around he couldn't focus on a target.

OOC: Rapier attack on Stirge and damage: 1d20+6 7 1d8+1d6+4 9

Niklos starts to drag the girl toward the entrance, keeping an eye on the stirges.

OOC: If dragging the girl is just movement, he will ready Word of Radiance to go off if any stirges come within 5 feet of them. Word of Radiance: cantrip; range 5'; Each creature of my choice within range that I can see must make a Con save (DC 13) or take 1d6 radiant damage.

Cyan comes over to cover Niklos as he starts trying to get Pell out of danger. Her blades slide through a few but they start to swarm closer and closer. "There's to many..." she starts to say.

The a warm light erupts all around the dragonborn and the two smaller folk she is towering over. Everyone outside the light have to shield their eyes a moment, and the flying nuisances shy away fluttering for the exit. When the bright radiance finally dies down the cavern is clear of the winged creatures and the young girl opens her eyes for a brief moment, "Wha-? What's happening?" then her eyes close once more as she drifts off to sleep.

OOC: Combat Over.

OOC: That's more powerful than I was expecting

OOC: Used for thematics as the group only had to kill one more. And with all those around the character I was sure he would have killed one. lol EDIT: Your character did "feel" that the power from your deity was a bit greater than normal as you were trying to rescue a young soul.

OOC: Anyone want to search the dungeon?

Blades still out Cyan began to look about the place.

"How's the girl?" Terry asks.

 

[jonathonhawke]

"She's sleeping. Can you grab her sword and help me carry her outside?"

"Okay," Terry picks up the wooden sword and helps get the girl out of the cave.

As Niklos and Terry take Pell outside, Cyan starts to investigate the cavern. There are three indentations that look to be started tunnels that were never truly finished. There is a broken pick axe handle, but no other debris or items or exits in the room.

Room seems empty, but your gut is telling you different.
