Heroes: The Powers

Serious speculation on immortality/super healer for Kaito right now, as it seems likely that Kensei is an empath.
I don't see it that way. It could easily be that he never seriously injured himself before, coward that he is, or that by the time he looked at it, it wasn't serious.

I suspect Alejandro's power may be more impressive than merely canceling his sister's power. Right now, I'd be that his power is more like "power negation."

This may prove to be important with the advent of the powers virus.

Just speculating.

What's "deconstructionist"? You mean the melty power the one guy had?
He's a guy at an off-campus coffee shop who manages to take any sort of fiction and analyze it to the point that no one enjoys it any more. He's a supervillain.

Well, keep in mind that the powered-people don't have thier powers active since birth. They all first started manifesting their powers shortly after a solar eclipse. There was one (in Hero's timeline) shortly after arriving. So Kensai's power would not necessarily have manifested before, this could (quite possibly) be the first time that it could even have taken effect since it is his first injury (that we see) since the eclipse in epi 1 of this season.

(it's late so i think i just talked in a circle, sorry if it rambles :) )

I am not as sure about that. Claire had been videotaping herself months before that, Nathan had been flying for a long time, plus all the companty people and the Linderman-Petrelli group. There had to be lots of eclipses (and there are worldwide but they are rare for any given location) plus they made the powers out to be genetic so I don't see how an eclipse can trigger thier activation.
