At the sound of the additional ghouls, Miss Imogen decides to seek higher ground.

She runs directly north and to the tent. And she leaps, onto the tent roof, before scrambling to her feet. Her fae blessing gives a lightness to her feet as she soars high into the air and onto the top of the tent.

At this point one of two things happens: The tent collapses from her weight bringing it down on whatever ghouls are inside, or it does not.

If it does, she falls with the tent, and deftly lands on her feet. She will then take her action. If it does not, she will look for a way to bring it down using her action. If that is possible, that's what she does (cutting guy ropes, whatever). If it is not possible, she stands and fires from above.

OOC: IC post 861, charm of jumping -- 3x normal jump distance (9' + reach if needed of 8', if she's 5'4.)

If tent collapses, she ignores the first 10' of fall damage.

I'm taking her movement now, and depending on the ruling, will then take the action and perhaps bonus action.

Legend
Artus Cimber & Dragonbait

As ghouls poured out of the surrounding tents, Artus Cimber and his saurial companion wasted no time. The mysterious traveller strode toward one and slashed at it with a long knife. The creature was quick, though, and it fended him off with swats of its clawed arms, until he managed to scratch a long cut into it's forearm with his third slashing motion.

His companion gave off the unmistakable smell of wood smoke as he joined the battle, swinging a very large shining sword in both hands (his shield was still strapped to his back for travel). His first overhead arc was ducked by the quick ghoul, but he deftly switched directions in a show of high skill and brought the blade down on the creature, nearly severing it's arm at the shoulder. The blade gave off a bright flash of light and cut through the creature like a hot knife in butter. It was gravely wounded, but still it stood snarling at him.

GM: I will keep trying to work my way to round's end. Sorry I have taken so long. Chrysagon and Harb next, promise! Also, I will update the map ASAP.

Legend
Chrysagon, Harb, Qawasha & Kupalue vs various Grey Ghouls

Chrysagon moved to a central position and invoked the wrath of Kelemvor. The first ghoul stopped attacking Dellrak and cowered in fright while another stayed within its tent in fear. Two other ghouls continued to force their way toward Chrysagon, though it was clear that they were more reluctant than they had been before.

Qawasha hated undead with an unrivalled passion. He raised his gnarled staff and waved it about, chanting. A series of roots and vines grew from the ground about some of the ghouls as they emerged from tents, wrapping about them. One of the ghouls was particularly tangled up, while the others ripped and tore their way through the enchanted plants.

Harb saw a solid opportunity, and he kicked at the ghoul that was tangled up in the plants and struck at it with his staff. He got in some solid hits, but the undead creature's flesh seemed heavy and dense. A stone slung from Kupalue's leaf-sling smacked into the same creature as Harb continued to beat on it.

OOC: In case anyone is curious, the Grey Ghouls all Dashed this round, s'why no one was attacked. So things like Sanctuary will come into play next round. Let me get you all a map...

Legend
Miss Imogen & Grey Ghouls 1 through 4

The original ghoul was terrified of Chrysagon and it ran between Dellrak and Rodrigo trying to get away. The other turned creature cowered in the back of the further of the largest tents.

Miss Imogen leapt through the air and she landed on the nearer of the tents. The bent-wood framework flexed under her weight, but it did not fall. Instead the tent listed under her and she knew that she could direct its fall with her weight while releasing the ties that held the central sticks together.

She watched as two ghouls approached Chrysagon. One of them reached out tentatively and then appeared to change its mind, searching instead for another target, it moved around the cleric. The other Ghoul scratched at Chrysagon

GM: Miss Imogen can knock the tent down on Ghoul3 or Ghoul3 & Ghoul2 (if she gets Chrysagon too), OR on Ghoul10, 11, & 13 (though Dragonbait doesn't need the help). To do so, she needs to use an action and a dc11 Dexterity (Sleight of Hand) check.
Dellrack and Rodrigo can take Opportunity Attacks at Ghoul1, if they like, otherwise it will run into a tent just past the entangle spell.

"They are coming from everywhere...", thought Chrysagon with concern.
He soaked the first wave but not enough were turned. It will not be an easy fight. Enlightening his flail, he fell back to Rodrigo and smashed the Ghoul who bypassed him.

A resounding **THWACK** was heard as Harb's quarter staff struck the ghoul across the head. He followed up with a kick before dashing away while doing his best to avoid the subsequent retaliation. The entangle might not delay them for long, but Harb was not about to risk letting 3 of these creatures get close to him all at once if he could avoid it.

Legend
Chrysagon vs Ghoul3 & Artus Cimber & Dragonbait vs Ghouls 9 through 13

Chrysagon smashed a ghoul with his fali and moved off to stand by Rodrigo. The ghoul swiped at him, scratching its claws on the paladin's shield as his protective sanctuary fizzled out.

On the other side of the tent, Artus Cimber slashed away with his long knife at one of the ghouls there. He cut it again and again, but the creature kept at him, slashing his arm with its long claws. Artus grunted and his arm looked heavy and he stumbled, but he kept his feet.

Dragonbait swung his large sword in another overhead arc and he split the ghoul in front of him in two. As the creature fell in halves, he marched steadily forward. A ghoul behind the tent appeared to be considering climbing up to get at Miss Imogen, but Dragonbait interposed himself and the ghoul tried to scratch at him, but he easily evaded it. Another ghoul came at him, and he held that one at bay as well.

Then a second ghoul leapt on Artus Cimber, and it brought the traveller down. It scratched his face with its claws and Artus Cimber appeared to be struggling greatly to stand, as if his legs were heavy weights or had no feeling.

Rodrigo saw the ghoul's fierce demeanor change suddenly. What the... aaah, the Paladin! His father had highly praised the holy men's ability to drive the undead away. He surveyed the field... there were still too many of them, unturned. He saw Chrysagon retreat to him. Each flank was holding by a hair's width...

"Master Dellrack, the right flank! Brother Chrysagon and I will hold. Miss Immogen, support on Arthur if you may!" He hoped it would be enough...

These ghouls were not mindless zombies. It was time to dance - he pictured in front of him the magic circle, the foundation of the footwork his school has devised. He was ready.

Ready action: attack the first ghoul that comes in range.

ready action on incoming ghouls: 1D20+5 = [12]+5 = 17

As the ghoul came close, Rodrigo stepped forward as if to stab it in the face - but it was a ruse - he sidestepped and brought his blade in a broad moulinet, crashing down on the back of the creature's knee.

(Superiority dice only expended if hit actually landed, but I think AC 17 is enough... I hope!)

Miss Imogen had never been great with ropes. Nevertheless, she set herself to collapsing the stays that would capture three of the ghouls. She didn't want to take down Chrusagon by mistake, and Dragonbait could be used more helpfully elsewhere.

OOC: Sleight of Hand: [roll0] vs. DC 11.
