Seriously though, I've got a D&D Classic deity all built in the Krustian system, just waiting for the Portfolios to make him ready to share with you all. Quite possibly the first of many I'll be converting from the "Default Pantheon."

I don't get to post or check up on the boards (with a full-time job and a full-time girlfriend who is very expensive)that much, so sorry if it's been covered (never found it discussed). But would it be any unbalancing if I changed Divine [Effect] to Divine Effect and just have it so that half the damage of any effect is divine damage?

I don't think it would hurt; but it might be a tad powerful, especially how you arbitrate it.
Example: Apply it to Negative Energy Ray. I drain say 10d4 levels, but nothing would stop 5d4 of it.
Potential problems applying it to Withering Effect may ensue as well.
I think it is fine when applied to the Elemental-type effects though; the fact that they pierce a victims immunity will be offset by their inability to fully exploit their weakness, if they have one.

I'll have the portfolios done with the next update, however, thats probably going to be tomorrow afternoon/tea-time ish (GMT), rather than tonight. Sorry.

I need about 5-6 hours work to get them finished, so its either stay up to about 4 am tonight (in which case I'll have to sleep all day Thursday) or get another 2-3 hours done tonight get up early and get the rest done as soon as possible.

I think it will be worth the wait to have them (finally) finished and out of the way.

Interesting (and complicated) point.

The quick answer is that I think it would work. Although its sort of apeing what the portfolios already do, so you might want to wait until the next Ascension update (tomorrow) and take a look over the finished portfolios.

Epic is a niche product on its own. Epic Psionics is a niche within a niche, I'd probably sell a dozen copies if I was lucky.
