"desert" is both too broad and too narrow I think.dante58701 said:Oh.......you forgot a portfolio.

WarDragon said:I find myself rather confused on the formula you use to determine how many ability slots an immortal receives for trading in artifacts.
WarDragon said:At first, I assumed it was one per point of LA difference between the template with and without extra equipment (so a Demigod, for example, would get 7 slots). But I've been looking over Surtr and Algol, and that just doesn't work. It also doesn't appear to be an amoung equal to the + value the artifacts would give, but somewhere between the two.
Am I missing something obvious? Is it just one esoteric ability per artifact traded?

This should be noted in the section on giving "monsters" extra abilities to make up for loss of artifacts, to be fair. I've started building some of my own (notably that Sidereal my PCs know about) and was using dante's "1 esoteric ability per lost artifact" rule- so this Sidereal got itself four Transcendentals. That isn't how you're doing it with the latest update?Upper_Krust said:Each artifact equals the Gods Divine Rank.
Yes, it is obvious see above. Hope that helps dude.![]()
