Hello, everybody!

Haha, second post today (just got back from an Italian restraunt...70 dollars..yuck). Anyways, thanks for the replies. The reason I was asking about the Divine Effect reprisal is because in our campaign that we have, we have some characters who don't have divine templates, but some divine abilities. I'll talk to the DM about allowing the full-fledged templates.
By the way... I am personally working on a campaign setting (in the work for about four or so months)that is being built from the ground up Immortal's Handbook style, which suits my style and that of my associates.
In reply to why I haven't gotten an update in a while, I don't get on often...the little lady likes to keep me to herself and not at the computer(and even hogs the dice!).
That being said...a good evening to everybody!

Xavier Dorland

Do you gain PP from slayings avatars and/or aspects? If so must the aspect or avatar be sundered on the generating deity's home plane or can they be slain anywhere and their PP claimed?

Hey all! :)

Okay I just updated V1.9.

Now, before you scream at me, no the portfolios are not yet completed, so what I am going to do is update again tomorrow.

I have all the portfolio powers and abilities written down - its just taking forever and a day copying them up. :o

Its basically just a matter of copying up/fixing about 500 lines of text.

Well the basic idea I have been working to is that only immortals with the appropriate portfolios can defeat an immunity.

e.g. A god with fire and war templates using one of his fire attacks will be 50% fire/50% divine.

Or if you have 2 fire portfolios it would be 100% divine (but still look like fire).

Cool - well I hope everyone has a good time with it. Come back sometime and let us know how it all goes.

Thats okay, I just thought for a moment it was a fault at my end. ;)

Yes.

Depends on the power of the Avatar/Aspect.

If they have 15+ Hit Dice then it needs to be on the home plane to kill.

Just want to say the updated portfolios are already looking spiffy. :)

I think the portfolio weaknesses are pretty cool too.
And some of the abilities have cool names. (Armageddon! Its worth spending 12 divine slots just to get this ability)

Yo, Krusty!

I find myself rather confused on the formula you use to determine how many ability slots an immortal receives for trading in artifacts. At first, I assumed it was one per point of LA difference between the template with and without extra equipment (so a Demigod, for example, would get 7 slots). But I've been looking over Surtr and Algol, and that just doesn't work. It also doesn't appear to be an amoung equal to the + value the artifacts would give, but somewhere between the two.

Am I missing something obvious? Is it just one esoteric ability per artifact traded?
