Desert
Desert Domain

Granted Powers: Survival is a class skill for you. In addition, you gain a +2 divine bonus to all Con checks and Fort saves made to resist damage of fatigue from cold, heat, hunger, or thirst. This bonus stacks with things like the Endurance feat.

1 Locate Water: Locates nearest source of fresh water.
2 Revive: Makes desert travel easier.
3 Quench Thirst: Alleviates a target's need for water for one day.
4 Neutralize Poison: Immunizes subject against poison, detoxifies venom in/on subject.
5 Sand-swim: Lets you swim through and breath within sand.
6 Find the Path: Shows most direct way to a location.
7 Control Weather: Changes weather in a local area.
8 Discern Location: Reveals exact location of a creature of object.
9 Storm of Vengeance: Storm rains acid, lighning, and hail.
E The Beast of a Thousand Legs, Mummy Dust: Variable.

here's a start

That's pretty nice stuff, Dante. Kudos.

U_K,

Re: Travel, a better restriction might be 10 minutes per HD/level, 1 hour per divine rank, or simply if you spend more than 1 night beneath the same roof.

Hi dante dude! :)

Very nice Desert portfolio!

Set was one...Sekhmet was another. There were others Im sure.

Well, a lot of gods have more than two portfolios so its up to DMs (or me) to chose the best two.

I think desert should cover sand and offer resistance (not immunity) to both cold and fire. Since the desert is freezing by night and incinerating by day. Dehydration is caused by the heat which cooks you. Fire resistance would cover that.

I suppose they could have a sort of Horrid Wilting [Effect].

Get the Hamunaptra setting from Green Ronin. It might help a lot. Id send you mine but that might not be legal.

I don't support piracy.

I won't have the fundage for purchases until sometime after I get print versions on sale.

So, a monstrous greater god would have 64 extra abilities? Cool.

Yes, although as paradox mentioned I was thinking something like:

Disciple-Quasi-deity, replace each missing artifact with a divine ability.
Demi-deity-Greater Deity, replace each missing artifact with a cosmic ability.
Elder One-Demiurge, replace each missing artifact with a transcendental ability.
Time Lord, replace each missing artifact with an omnific ability.

This method is very quick and simple, but totally mucks up the divinity template Challenge Ratings.

Whereas the other method is slightly slower but more accurate.

Oh, another question; if an immortal has DR x/- higher than his divine DR (say from Barbarian levels and the Epic feat), does he qualify for other abilities as if he had the Perfect Damage Reduction divine ability?

I would allow them to stack but the weaknesses would apply to all.

So

DR 9/- and DR 15/epic and silver

would become

DR 24/epic and silver

Labor Domain Spells
1. improved mending, as mending but can affected warped items and up to 1 lbs (or 5 lbs) per CL.
2. bear’s endurance
3. haste
4.
5. fabcricate
6. bear’s endurance
7. hardening
8. irresistable dance (instead of dancing you do pointless repetitious work)
9. true creation

No idea what to do for 4th level. You could always toss minor creation in there.

Anyone feel free to do the Labour Domain spells. :p
Best I could do:

1: Unseen Servant (Create a minor labourer)
2: Bull's Strength (Become a beast of burden)
3: ?
4: Lesser Geas (You would benefit from 1 day/level's hard work)
5: ?
6: Animate Objects (The tools themselves will labour for the good of all)
7: Animate Plants (The crops themselves will labour for the good of all)
8: ?
9: Summon Monster IX (The spirits themselves will labour for the good of all)

Could do with more spells for doing labour oneself rather than forcing it on other things, but that's what I have so far.

Fake Edit: Merc also has an interesting take. I don't think I agree with the repair/creation theme, but haste and irresistible dance are interesting picks. Bull's Strength/Bear's Endurance is a tossup, really.

Real Edit: Also the spells I have least disagreement with are the ones that fit the gaps in mine, luckily for my take. :D

3rd - Haste (Hustle! We don't have all day!)
5th - Telekinesis (Lift what cannot be lifted)
8th - Telekinetic Sphere (Lift more)
