Hello again!
I mean to ask you guys which of the Epic/Divine/Cosmic etc. abilities should be illustrated within the book.
I don't expect to do more than ten in that chapter (maybe 2 epic, 4 divine, 2 cosmic, 1 transcendental and 1 omnific).
Any suggestions?
While illustrations of various [Effect] abilities might be nice eye candy, a broad range of powers may be better.
My humble suggestions.
Epic - Amazing Pockets, and Three Weapon Fighting (Alabastor is more than a three [six] weapon fighter; He's a force of nature)
Divine - Goetic Blood, (Classic mythology. Plus its fun to have a deity bleed tarrasques) Time Stealer, ("I got your future!") Theopoea, (I picture temple raiders in a dire situation involving many stone golems) Vanguard [Whatever] (A deities aura shielding mortals from dragon's breath)
Cosmic - ATOMIC EFFECT!!!

... and a 3 way tie between Specular (Beings striking a deity but themselves showing wounds), Oblique strike (Like the description), and Critical Mass (Appeals to the DBZ fans with a barbarian who is so angry he may literally explode!)
Transcendant - Tie between Transtemporal (I picture a monk/fighter spring-attacking through time and pummleing a foe with attacks/after images) and Transgenic (A warrior reviving, absorbing all kinds of crazy energies, with a foe in the BG walking away, with the same energies around him.)
Omnific - Absolute (A crazy-powerful Timelord reflecting the concerted attacks of others back at them. And an excuse to sneak in other effects)
