OOC: | Yes, it's a 30, so you got a 53. Writing this took a while. Plus, you can ask other Spellcraft-related questions regarding the ruins, the doors, the dais, etc. on the OOC thread. I'll answer everything I can. |
Do you mean that, as part of my roll, I can ask a bunch of questions? Or do you mean I can roll some spellcraft checks to get more info?
You can ask a bunch of questions. No extra rolls are required.

A few questions that I'm thinking (I'll sleep on it tonight and see if I can think of more):
Do we have enough PC/NPCs present to, potentially, open the door if we 'fit' the right 'theme'? I'm thinking there's only 6 of us? Who is the 7th? Would the intelligent weapons count as a potential candidate? Or the scorpion(assuming Caerth shares what he knows)?
Yes, you have enough characters present. Including Aureus, there are 7 characters: Aureus, Caerth, Maur, Litrix, Phar, Quinn, and Angus. It's a matter of figuring out who touches each of the sigils.

As Phar watches Caerth touch the symbol, his detect magic sees another 'light' up....is it easier to make out the final sigil? Will the final sigil be easier to see if it get lit too?
The light is visable to Phar even without
detect magic. The sigil for Arixon glows and Phar can see it. The others can't see that sigil glow, however. If Caerth takes his hand away, the Arixon sigil stops glowing.

Is there potentially another way into the area, given the crumbling buildings?
If you mean the just the building that the iron doors are attached too, then no. All of the walls are completely intact and seem quite solid. Magic might be able to bypass it, but you don't know if something else might happen if you go in another way. There is the skylight on the top of the building that Caerth saw while in dire owl form. That skylight is intact.
Caerth might not like the idea of breaking in to the building.

Different note, I might as well ask while I'm here: Phar will check out the chest to see if there's magic on it (I'll put that in my next post)
I think that's it for now
The chest doesn't detect as magical. There aren't any visible auras on the chest, barrel, or silver box. There isn't any aura on the wooden door that leads out of the small room that the chest is in. Debris has fallen into the room, but can be bypassed to get to the items and door.
