Let's get a few horses for those who want one and a single wagon/cart/carriage for the two book nerds. My character would happily ride a horse, but realistically, his chest full of stuff will fit better on a wagon.

I wasn't sure if we were going to RP more at the meeting or fast forward to the journey and do some rp on the road. I'd kind of assumed the latter which is why I had my character leave. If we are still chatting around the table, I can have my character turn around and do more talking.

Not sure about a routine. My guess is he has a small cabin/camp that he stays at that he needs to maintain. He also spends part of the day hunting and gathering food. He would also hire himself out as a guide and escort to people traveling through these parts as a way to make some coin. Other than that not sure would need to think more if you need greater detail.

Nope that's all good, I figured he only went into the fort for torches, iron rations, and rope. Was only wondering what he did on an average day.

I kind of want to interact/rp with some of the other PCs...is it easier to put it all in one post, kind of have different conversations going on that happened in the journey to the boat or just focus on one persona at a time?

Keep all your interactions in one post - that way no one will miss anything if you skip page between two posts
