D&D 5E (OOC) Rise of the Dracolich (Full)

I do too. The last one I lost, I even told myself to do it before I started writing, and then I forgot just before I hit the "post" button. It didn't post, and it wouldn't go back to it. AARGH.

So...since Primus can read lips, due to the Observant Feat, can I just assume that while we're all together, can I assume that he "hears" any conversations going on around him? Cause he's, you know, observant?

I see 2 things to say to that. Unless both sides of a conversation were facing him he'd only get 1/2 of the conversation that way. Also, he'd basically have to stare at them to 'hear' anything, which would be easy to notice.

Yeah, it also presupposes that he has nothing better to do. But sure, he can get the gist of any conversation you want, within reason. If you want people to not KNOW he's listening in, you'll have to roll a Deception (to pretend not to be watching) or a Stealth (to actually not be seen to be watching). It'll be against passive Insight and Perception, respectively, so if you roll in the teens we'll have to find out the dc. If you under 10 or over 20, success and failure should be obvious. (This simple thing is pretty universal - though not always-always.)

I really don't care if they know he's watching them, he's supposed to be slightly creepy. And it's really just for kicks and giggles. If he ever uses the ability for realz, like trying to read the lips of an enemy or something, then I'll deal with that stuff.

Oh, and when people notice he's looking at them, he just winks and moves on. Just FYI.

Mord has known Armor in the past. Since he never really used it, he forgot it for something else. Kalorn's Thunderstep ability reminds him of his Dimension Door spell as well.

Ah, but Dimension door is a also a wizard spell. It also existed in my 2e PHB, it's a proper meat and potato spell, not this crazy newfangle stuff! (ie it doesn't smell warlocky).

I'm sure sooner or later he'll be blasting with EB. But the spell I'm excited about is Shadow of Moil.

I have Waterdeep: Dragon Heist and I'm itching to run it, but it's level 1-5 (and not THIS game), so I don't really have anything for you to do there. But I thought I'd leave it open if anyone really really wanted to go there. We probably should just get moving onto Luskan, though...
